Spontaneous base flipping helps drive Nsp15’s preferences in double stranded RNA substrates by Zoe M. Wright, Kevin John Butay, Juno M. Krahn, Isha M. Wilson, Scott A. Gabel, Eugene F. DeRose, Israa S. Hissein, Jason G. Williams, Mario J. Borgnia, Meredith N. Frazier, Geoffrey A. Mueller, Robin E. Stanley

    Published 2025-01-01
“…Abstract Coronaviruses evade detection by the host immune system with the help of the endoribonuclease Nsp15, which regulates levels of viral double stranded RNA by cleaving 3′ of uridine (U). While prior structural data shows that to cleave double stranded RNA, Nsp15’s target U must be flipped out of the helix, it is not yet understood whether Nsp15 initiates flipping or captures spontaneously flipped bases. …”

Efficient Design of the Microstrip Reflectarray Antenna by Optimizing the Reflection Phase Curve by Xing Chen, Qiang Chen, Pan Feng, Kama Huang

    Published 2016-01-01
“…The common optimization method that employs an optimization algorithm in conjunction with the full-wave simulation to optimize the antennas’ structural parameters is able to achieve better performances in comparison with the conventional method; but it is impractical for large-scale microstrip reflectarray antennas due to too many structural parameters from variable reflection elements. …”

Software patch comparison technology through semantic analysis on function by Yan CAO, Long LIU, Yu WANG, Qingxian WANG

    Published 2019-10-01
“…Patch comparison provides support for software vulnerability, and structural comparison has been developed.Based on summarizing binary files comparison and anti-comparison methods, comparison technology was proposed by semantic analysis on function to address the issue that structural comparison cannot carry on semantic analysis.Through traditional structural comparison, syntax differences in function-level were analyzed to find the maximum common subgraph. Then, the path cluster was built between the input and output of the function depend on program dependency analysis.Function output characteristics was established based on symbolic execution.Semantic differences of functions were compared by functional summaries.Based on the maximum isomorphic subgraph, the matched functions which there are possible semantic changes between was further analyzed.Ultimately, the experimental results showed the feasibility and advantages of the proposed method.…”

    基于响应面法的丢手释放接头优化设计 by 万锋, 管锋, 王琼

    Published 2021-01-01
“…In order to optimize the structural strength and weight of the release joint,a multi-objective optimization design method with stress and mass as objective functions was proposed. In this paper, the response surface methodology combined with finite element numerical analysis was used to construct the response surface model of stress and mass respectively with respect to structural parameters, and the interaction between the parameters was analyzed.Based on the response surface models, the optimal structural parameter configuration of the release joint was obtained by multi-objective optimization analysis. The stress of the optimized structure decreased by 19.5% with a slight increase in mass.Numerical and experimental verification shows that the optimized structure is safe and reliable. The proposed design method, which combines the response surface methodology, finite element numerical analysis and experimental testing, can provide reference for the design of similar mechanical or engineering structures.…”
