Lepidium sativum Seed Extract-Mediated Synthesis of Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles: Structural, Morphological, Optical, Hemolysis, and Antibacterial Studies
Published 2023-01-01“…The results indicated a 24.2 nm crystallite size, a hexagonal structure phase, and a 3.48 eV optical bandgap. Antibacterial studies revealed a dose-dependent response with comparable activity to the standard drug (gentamicin) and higher activity against S. aureus than E. coli, e.g., the zone of inhibition at 120 mg/mL was 23 ± 1.25 and 16 ± 1.00 mm, respectively. …”

Host protein PRPS2 interact with the non-structural protein p17 of Avian Reovirus and promote viral replication
Published 2025-01-01“…Avian reovirus (ARV) is highly prevalent in healthy poultry flocks and has been linked to viral arthritis/tendonitis, dwarf syndrome, chronic respiratory disease, and immunosuppression in avian species, resulting in significant economic losses within the poultry industry. The non-structural protein p17 encoded by ARV induces cellular autophagy and facilitates viral proliferation, playing a pivotal role in viral pathogenesis. …”

Molecular testing stratifies the risk of structural recurrence in high risk differentiated thyroid cancer: a retrospective cohort study
Published 2025-01-01“…Multivariate COX regression analysis confirmed that molecular characterize groups (HR: 5.77, 95% CI: 2.18-15.23, p < 0.001) and tumor size (HR: 1.32, 95% CI: 1.00-1.74, p = 0.047) independently predicted recurrence-free survival.ConclusionATA-RSS high-risk differentiated thyroid cancer often presents with late-hit genetic alterations, which are strongly associated with increased likelihood of structural recurrence. Molecular testing offers a precise approach to recurrence risk stratification in high-risk cases, enabling personalized follow-up and treatment strategies tailored to the specific prognostic profile.…”
