Simple Sensitive Spectrophotometric Determination of Vanadium in Biological and Environmental Samples
Published 2006-01-01“…Novel, rapid, highly sensitive and selective spectrophotometric method for the determination of traces of vanadium (V) in environmental and biological samples, pharmaceutical and steel samples was studied. The method is based on oxidation of 2,4- dinitro phenyl hydrazine(2,4-DNPH) by vanadium (V) followed by coupling reaction with N-(1-naphthalene-1-yl)ethane-1,2-diamine-dihydrochloride (NEDA) in acidic medium to give red colored derivative or on oxidation of 4-Amino Pyridine by vanadium (V) followed by coupling reaction with NEDA in basic medium to give pink colored derivative. …”

Verification of the ΔKeff hypothesis along the fatigue crack path in thin and thick Al specimens
Published 2019-05-01“…These tests show that the Al specimens reproduce the behavior previously observed in similar tests in 1020 steel: a significant decrease of the opening load as the cracks grow along the specimens, while maintaining a FCG rate essentially constant under the fixed {ΔK, Kmax} loading, a behavior that cannot be explained by the ΔKeff hypothesis.…”

Competition between microstructure and defect in multiaxial high cycle fatigue
Published 2015-07-01“…In this paper, particular emphasis is also placed on the effect of different loading modes (pure tension, pure torsion and combined tension and torsion) on the experimental and predicted fatigue strength of a 316 stainless steel containing artificial defect.…”

Reference physiological and biochemical values of adult albino rats
Published 2025-01-01“…Before taking any samples, the animals were restrained using buckles made of stainless steel to keep them under control. The research team decided to obtain samples from as many measures as possible, incorporating values and intervals of vital signs and hematological, hormonal, and biochemical variables. …”
