Consistent individual positions within roosts in Spix’s disc-winged bats
Published 2023-11-01“…We focus on the highly cohesive and mobile social groups found in Spix’s disc-winged bats (Thyroptera tricolor) given this species’ use of a tubular roosting structure that forces individuals to be arranged linearly within its internal space. We obtained high scores for linearity measures, particularly for the top and bottom positions, indicating that bats position themselves in a predictable way despite constant roost-switching. …”

Published 2018-05-01“…The problem is solved by using the properties of vortex flows of mechanical mixtures, the system application of separators-confusers, cyclones-confusers and creating a new method of complex purification of impurities from surfaces and bottom layers of water bodies by forming counter main flow, swirling flows of mechanical mixtures and managing them in space. The technical result is achieved by improving the technological process of separation of mechanical mixtures, its depth, integrated use of equipment and improve the efficiency of processes. …”

Study on the driving mechanism of spatio-temporal non-stationarity of vegetation dynamics in the Taihangshan-Yanshan Region
Published 2025-01-01“…From 2001 to 2020, kNDVI in spring, summer and autumn showed a slow upward trend and a downward trend in winter. In terms of space, vegetation coverage in Yanshan region is generally higher than that in Taihang Mountain with significant spatial heterogeneity.(2) Theil-Sen Median trend and Hurst index analysis shows that about 70% of regions have shown an increasing trend in kNDVI throughout the year and will continue to increase in the future. (3) The analysis results of Optimal Parameter Geodetector Detectors (OPGD) show that evapotranspiration (ET) is the dominant driving factor of kNDVI, and the interactive enhancement benefits with other factors is significant. …”
