Information tracing model based on PageRank by Qian LI, Jia-wei LAI, Yun-peng XIAO, Bin WU

    Published 2017-08-01
“…In social network, original publisher and important nodes in the diffusion process can be traced by analyzing the spreading network of a hot topic. The participated users and spreading network structure of a hot topic build an information tracing model, which mines the source and important diffusion nodes.Firstly,it analyzed the development trend of a hot topic and extracts the users involved.Secondly,it established a user network according to the following relationship of the users involved.Thirdly, the contribution rate of users on the development of the hot topic was initialized, and the PageRank algorithm was used to construct the information tracing model. Finally, the Top k users were selected as the information publisher and important users of the hot topic according to the contribution rate.Experimental results showed that our model can effectively discover the hot topic of the publisher and important users.…”

A model of RD-IHSAT rumor dissemination based on coupling network by Yishi HAN, Yuxin XU, Tiantian LU

    Published 2023-02-01
“…To explore the spread of rumors in social network, based on the principles of coupling network, the model of RD-IHSAT was established on Barabási-Albert (BA) scale free network and Watts-Strogatz (WS) small world network. The classic model of SIR was optimized, by combining it with three concerns, the interest decay, the social consensus and the spiral of silence effect, and adding four roles, hesitated, adherent, reticent and debunker. Results of numerical simulations are as follows: an information outbreak can be triggered by coupling network, not only the spreading speed but the scale as well; the dissemination can be markedly suppressed when the probability of rumor-refuting for the hesitated and spreaders arises; the chances of transition from spreaders to adherents drop; increasing the proportion of silent groups is a key part of curbing the spread of rumors; the control of the time lag in refuting rumors will greatly affect the effect of refuting rumors.…”

Research and development of network representation learning by Ying YIN, Lixin JI, Ruiyang HUANG, Lixin DU

    Published 2019-04-01
“…Network representation learning is a bridge between network raw data and network application tasks which aims to map nodes in the network to vectors in the low-dimensional space. These vectors can be used as input to the machine learning model for social network application tasks such as node classification, community discovery, and link prediction. The traditional network representation learning methods are based on homogeneous information network. In the real world, the network is often heterogeneous with multiple types of nodes and edges. Moreover, from the perspective of time, the network is constantly changing. Therefore, the research method of network representation learning is continuously optimized with the complexity of network data.Different kinds of network representation learning methods based on different networks were introduced and the application scenarios of network representation learning were expounded.…”
