On the scheme of delay-waiting direct rapid acquisition of very long PN code
Published 2006-01-01“…A scheme of direct rapid acquisition of very long PN code that was used in satellite navigation system based on DSSS was presented. In the scheme, the delay of the local PN code was determined through estimate the clock bias between local satellite clock, and which is used to preset the match filter. The scheme was so called “delay-waiting” method. The deeply analysis on technique details and acquisition performance of the scheme is given.…”

Spatial Network Resource Scheduling Based on Joint MPTCP with SDN for SDN/NFV Architecture
Published 2020-09-01“…The space network is mainly composed of satellite networks of various architectures with many network nodes.Compared with the ground network, the nodes in the satellite network are diff cult to observe and control, and the network equipment is extremely expensive. The rapid increase in the number of users has brought a great burden to the network, and at the same time caused the network resources to be unreasonably used. The application of traditional network architecture to large-scale satellite networks results in the inability to fl exibly confi gure the network and uneven resource allocation.Aim to the above problems,a space network resource scheduling system based on SDN(software defi ned network)/NFV(network function virtualization) architecture was proposed to realized real-time monitoring of space network resources. At the same time,it combined MPTCP (multipath TCP) and SDN to completed the fl exible confi guration of the space network and the rational use of its resources. It improved the throughput of the network.…”

Predicting pack-ice seal occupancy of ice floes along the Western Antarctic Peninsula.
Published 2024-01-01“…These patterns provide information on pack-ice seal behavior and, when combined with methods to delineate individual ice floes, can yield predictions on the number of seals likely to be found in each satellite image scene. This work represents another step in the pipeline required to automate the survey of pack-ice seals using satellite imagery, a necessary step towards pan-Antarctic monitoring of these key marine predators.…”

Multi-User Detection Algorithm for Asynchronous Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access Based on Gaussian Approximation
Published 2023-03-01“…Code domain non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) is one of the potential technologies to realize ubiquitous access in the future satellite internet.Considering that satellite-to-ground transmission has the characteristics of large propagation delay and high channel dynamics, strict timing synchronization between ground devices will lead to unbearable time resource overhead.Loosed synchronization relationship are required to achieve multi-user access in satellite internet. However, most of the existing multi-user detection algorithms in code domain NOMA are based on the assumption of synchronous transmission, which cannot accurately model and eff ectively alleviate the complex interference introduced by asynchronous multi-user transmission. Therefore, a novel multi-layer factor graph model by introduced the relative delay among users into the traditional two-part factor graph was constructed, and a low-complexity asynchronous multi-user detection algorithm based on gaussian approximation was proposed. The proposed algorithm iterated between each user's estimates and propagated the estimated information between users to improved the approximation.Simulation results showed that in high SNR region, the performance of the asynchronous code-domain NOMA with the proposed algorithm even outperforms its synchronous counterpart.…”
