Novel key management and authentication scheme for ad hoc space networks by YANG De-ming, MU De-jun, XU Zhong

    Published 2006-01-01
“…To be implemented using a flexible distributed architecture consisting of a constellation of dynamically de-ployed or configured satellites that were networked together into an integrated information system, the satellites could form an ad hoc self-organizational network, which posed unique challenges to security for the network.A novel and flexible security architecture was proposed, which aimed to provide public key infrastructure and authentication scheme.Based on the absolute distributed certificate authority almost any standard public-key-based authentication protocol could be adopted directly. In cases where the space nodes involved were extremely limited in computational resources,a light-weight authentication scheme that provided integrity and confidentiality based on cryptographic hash functions and symmetric key cryptography was proposed.…”

Heterogeneous resource cooperative game in space-ground computing power network by Yutong ZHANG, Yuming PENG, Boya DI, Lingyang SONG

    Published 2023-12-01
“…To deal with the resource competition among satellites in the multi-satellite space-ground computing network, a space-ground heterogeneous resource cooperative game mechanism was designed in terms of the computing and spectrum domains. Each satellite published a computing task which was independent of other tasks and relied on UE to generate raw data.By competing the resources of user terminals and UE, the task offloading and processing was achieved. To provide real-time data services, a distributed scheme was proposed based on multi-agent reinforcement learning to coordinate the computing and spectrum resource competition among satellites, thereby minimizing the system latency.Simulation results indicated that, compared with the existing schemes, the proposed algorithm achieves a lower system latency by fully utilizing the computing and spectrum resources and coordinating the resource competition.…”

    Published 2023-05-01
“…With the growing maturity of millimeter wave technology and high-throughput satellite communication technology, as well as the urgent need for global broadband communication services, the construction of LEO giant communication constellation has attracted great attention, and up to thousands of satellites have been deployed.A large number of LEO communication satellites have realized multiple and repeated coverage of high-frequency radio frequency signals on the ground. At the same time, ground communication resources provide a hardware platform for signal reception and create conditions for the development of integrated communication and navigation. The status quo, opportunities and challenges of the integrated LEO navigation constellation were discussed, and the differences of resources required by the integrated LEO navigation constellation and the global navigation satellite system were emphatically expounded. In terms of space segment, ground segment and user segment, the conclusions and prospects for future research were presented.…”

Integrity Monitoring Technology of Mixed Constellation of High, Medium and Low Orbit Navigation Based on Genetic Algorithm Star Selection by Zhengcheng WU, Shaojie NI, Wenxiang LIU, Wei XIAO, Zongnan LI

    Published 2023-12-01
“…Low-orbit satellites are widely used in communication, navigation, remote sensing and other fields, which is of great significance to meet the needs of communication and improve the accuracy of navigation and positioning.Integrity technology is an important guarantee for the safe and reliable operation of satellite navigation system. With the mature development of low orbit technology and the gradual application of a large number of low orbit satellites, it is urgent to develop the system integrity monitoring technology under the condition of mixed constellation of high and low orbits. This paper proposed a hybrid constellation integrity monitoring technology for high, middle and low orbit navigation based on genetic algorithm for star selection. On the basis of the traditional optimal geometric accuracy factor selection method, genetic algorithm was introduced to construct a fitness factor based on the linear weighted feature slope of the satellite geometric observation matrix, so as to achieve rapid convergence of user protection level to protection limit. This method further improved the integrity of the receiver by optimizing the way of star selection.Under the accuracy requirement of CAT I, for the "BeiDou+StarNet-1" constellation, the global availability level of the proposed algorithm was 5.60%, and the enhancement effect was the best for the mid-latitude and low-latitude of the Eastern Hemisphere, which were increased by 7.01% and 6.42%, respectively.…”
