La catastrophe d’AZF
Published 2021-09-01“…The axiological transformation was initially intended to be radical : ‘reconciliation’ with the site through health and the emergence of the Cancéropôle, a large, wooded campus that reconnects with the natural environment of the River Garonne. However, twenty years after the accident, blockages, the relative halt to the initial project, the traces of the accident voluntarily or involuntarily preserved, and the observed fragmentation of the territory bear witness to a diminished desire to partake in a common project. …”

Les conventions locales pour la gestion des ressources naturelles au Sénégal : Entre autonomisation et problème d’appropriation
Published 2011-05-01“…In Sahel, although they are fashionable and enjoy more attention at the decision-makers, these instruments are still poorly considered in the current context of the decentralization (Diallo, 2003), like plans of occupation and affectation of grounds (POAS) experimented in the valley of the Senegal River. The aim of this paper is to question, from a survey led in a rural district with elected representatives, with technicians, with associative persons in charge and with users, the impact of this informal system, although formalized, of joint land management. …”

Evaluation of Urban Water System Development from the Perspective of Space
Published 2022-01-01“…To adapt to the reform of spatial planning in the new era, this study evaluates the urban water system from the new perspective of space and lays the foundation for the future use of spatial means to realize the optimization and sustainable development of urban water system functions.Taking Shenzhen as an example, this paper divides its urban water system space into four types, namely, resource ecology space, engineering facility space,water-city integrated space, and safety risk space, and evaluates them from the dimensions of the total space, composition and layout, system carrying capacity, and space quality. The results indicate that the space occupancy rate of the water system is generally low,and the local water resources and the carrying capacity of the water environment are limited, which are vulnerable to multiple disasters of floods and surges. The potential risk areas are mainly distributed in densely populated areas and industry-intensive areas. The spatial service quality of the water system has great potential for improvement considering the low biodiversity of rivers and lakes, the insufficient attraction of waterfront space, and a low proportion of the complex utilization of facility space.…”
