Analysis for Hydrological Regime of the Lower Reaches of Geheyan Reservoir Based on IHA-RVA Method
Published 2020-01-01“…In order to evaluate quantitatively the change of ecological and hydrological regime of the lower reaches of Geheyan reservoir, based on the daily flow data of Changyang hydrological station from 1951 to 2010,this paper analyzes the flow trend with the non-parameter Mann-Kendall trend test, and the abrupt change points by Mann-Kendall test, moving t test and ordered clustering, and then comprehensively evaluates the ecological and hydrological changes of Changyang section at the lower reaches of the Geheyan reservoir with IHA-RVA (indicators of hydrologic alteration and range of variability approach) and hydrological alteration degree evaluation. The results show that:The annual average runoff of Changyang station shows unobvious downward trend. In 2000,there was an abrupt change. In overall, the hydrological regime is featured with 58% of moderate change, and indicators with the most obvious change are the base flow index, time of annual minimum flow, duration of low flow pulse and number of reversals, which can provide reference for water ecological protection of Qingjiang River Basin.…”

Research on Flood Forecasting Based on Double-excess Model
Published 2021-01-01“…In order to conduct the flood forecasting research of small watershed in the control basin of Lengkou hydrological station, this paper firstly process the digital elevation model (DEM) of the study area;calculates the area weight of the sub-basin by Thiessen polygon method, the runoff yield by the double-excess flow model, the overland flow through the Nash instantaneous unit line method and the flood in river course by SWAI1,and establishes the double-excess flood forecasting model;analyzes the sensitivity of model parameters with LH-OAT method;and calibrates and verifies the model parameters for 25 historical floods with different flood levels. The simulation results reach grade B forecast precision in the period of calibration and verification,so the simulation effect is good. The research results can provide reliable reference for hydrological forecast, flood control and disaster reduction, and enrich the research experience of flood forecasting in semi-arid and semi-humid areas.…”

Response Analysis of Dam Heel and Gallery Arch before and after Backfilling and Water Filling of High Dam
Published 2021-01-01“…As the key to the construction of high dams, backfilling in front of the dam and filling of the foundation pit have an important impact on the stress state of key parts of the dam body, such as the dam heel and gallery arch. Therefore, this paper studies the response of dam heel and gallery arch before and after backfill and foundation pit filling of a high dam in Southwest China based on the monitoring data and simulation analysis. The results show that under the combined effect of weight, temperature and hydrostatic pressure, due to the influence of the backfill in front of the dam and the water filling height of the foundation pit,the tensile stress produces at the dam heel, and the compressive stress increases along the river at the gallery arch, with the maximum increment of 1.24 MPa.Thus, the tensile stress of the gallery arch is weakened and the stress state of the high dam is optimized, which can be further verified through the comparison with monitoring data.…”

Evolution Process and Impact Analysis of the Dam-break Flood of Baihuatan Hydropower Station Based on HEC-RAS
Published 2021-01-01“…Once the reservoir is destroyed,it will bring huge damage to peoples lives and regional economic development. This paper extracts the topographic information of the upstream and downstream of Baihuatan Hydropower Station by Google Earth and Arc-GIS,establishes a numerical analysis model of the river channel through HEC-RAS based on the 1∶1 000 topographic map of the hub, calculates and analyzes the evolution process and the scope of impact of dam-break flood under nine schemes, and clearly defines the submerged scope and transfer route. The results show that:The flow of the breach depends on the width of the breach.During the course of the dam-break flood, with the continuation of the flood into the reservoir, the peak flow of the downstream sections decreases slightly; The greater the flood into the reservoir is,the earlier the peak flow of downstream sections occurs;Guoyushe,Shihua Village,Caiyuanzi, and Anning Village will be flooded to a certain extent. The analysis results provide a scientific basis for the safe operation of power stations and emergency management of flood control, and a reference for the research of similar gate dam projects.…”

Research on Improvement in Application Effect of Artificial Fish Nests
Published 2022-01-01“…As a measure to restore fish habitats, artificial fish nests have been widely used in the protection of aquatic ecosystems. The current studies and inventions of artificial fish nests pay much attention to the changes in material and structural forms, and few focus on their resistance to water flow impact and the convenience of later maintenance. Many problems are exposed in the application of artificial fish nests, such as limited applicable environments, difficulties in adapting to river environments with large changes in flow velocity and water levels, and low process practicability and durability. On the basis of summarizing the application problems of artificial fish nests and their causes, this article explores the applicability characteristics of different artificial fish nests and innovates artificial fish nests sticking to the riverbank through the improvements in structural forms, fixation modes, material selection, and operation to improve the application effects of artificial fish nests in flowing water environment.…”
