Covariance Blind Detection Method Based on Eigenvector in Cognitive Radio Network

Study of energy efficient WBAN topology optimization in IEEE 802.15.6
Published 2016-06-01“…An optimization model was proposed to design the network topology of wireless body area network(WBAN).Focusing on the two hops extended star topology given in IEEE 802.15.6 standard,a mixed integer non-linear programming model was constructed to minimize the energy consumption of WBAN.Then,the optimized network topology was obtained by adjusting the number and location of relays to be deployed and the data routing towards the hub.The experimental results show that,compared with Elias’s model (EAWD,energy aware WBAN design),the proposed model can reduce network energy consumption by 40.5%,decrease network delay by 52.4% on average,and extend network lifetime by double.…”

Cooperative transmission design combining network coding and superposition coding
Published 2012-08-01“…A joint network coding (NC) and superposition coding scheme was proposed to realize a cooperative transmission.The use of NC was able to improve spectral efficiency over classical decode and forward relaying strategy by relaxing the orthogonality constraint between different data streams and mitigating the resultant interference through precoding.In contrast to using the CSI based beamforming scheme which could achieve near optimal performance but involves huge computational complexity,designing the beamforming vector using the form of superposition coding was proposed,such that CSI at the transmitters were not required and the involved computation was greatly reduced.The theoretical analysis and simulation results reveal that the proposed scheme shows performances close to the near-optimal CSIT based scheme.…”

Adaptive energy-saving routing algorithm for inter-clustering communications in WSN
Published 2012-03-01“…An adaptive routing algorithm was proposed for saving nter-clustering communication energy in wireless sensor networks (WSN).In the network,the end-to-end route discovery mechanism was based on the primary principle of the minimum communication costs.An algorithm was prop sed for inter-clustering communication optimization by adaptively selecting the most energy-efficient communication mode among direct,relaying and cooperative communications.The proposed routing algorithm guarantees that the source node can discover the minimum or sub-minimum energy consumption route to the base station.It also decreases the probability that the communications are interrupted due to the coverage holes.Compared with the other routing algorithms,the simu tion results show that the proposed routing algorithm makes WSN consume less energy in each round under the same throughput and bit error ratio (BER).It can also prolong the network lifetimes and operation times under the different node densities.…”

Error performance of multi-branch dual-hop PF cooperative systems
Published 2016-09-01“…Design of multi-branch dual-hop phase-only forward(PF)cooperative systems with continuous phase frequency shift keying(CPFSK)modulation needs to determine the number of branch and modulation index.The usual solution of determining the above parameters is the time-consuming and inefficient computer simulation.An efficient solution of determining these parameters is theoretical analysis method.Semi-analytical expressions for the average bit error rate(ABER)of multi-branch dual-hop PF cooperative systems in conjunction with discrimination detection CPFSK over time-selective Rayleigh fading channels was presented.Two cases with and without antenna selection at the relays and maximum-ratio combining(MRC)receive diversity at the destination were considered.The simulation results show that numerical calculation results and simulation results for the ABERs of PF,discrimination detection,CPFSK cooperative systems are consistent and show that the above ABER theory results of CPFSK cooperative systems can be used to design PF cooperative systems.…”
