Optimal transmission strategy of diamond channel with limited battery capacity of source node by Taoshen LI, Li SUN, Zhe WANG

    Published 2021-06-01
“…In order to solve the problem that the energy harvesting uncertainty of node in wireless energy harvesting network makes it difficult for the system to design a reasonable transmission strategy, a diamond channel with limited battery capacity of the source node were constructed. The goal was to maximize the end-to-end throughput of the system.Under the conditions of meeting the constraints of energy and data causality between transmission nodes and no battery energy overflow, a model to maximize the end-to-end throughput of the system was built, and an optimal offline transmission power and rate allocation strategy was proposed.Firstly, based on theoretical analysis and formula derivation, the strategy transformed the optimal transmission problem into the optimal transmission problem on the side of the broadcast channel, and used the water-filling algorithm to solve the optimal total power from the source node to the relay node. Then, the throughput of the source node to each relay node was analyzed based on the cutoff power level in the broadcast channel throughput maximization problem. Finally, according to the data arrival of the relay node, the iterative water-filling method was used to solve the optimal transmission power from the relay node to the destination node, and the optimal rate was solved by extending the optimal rate of the multiple access channel.Simulation results demonstrate the feasibility and correctness of the proposed optimization policies.…”

Pre-repeat cooperative GBN-ARQ for TDD/TDMA based wireless networks by Luo-bing DONG, Ke-chu YI, Pei-yi SHEN, Quan YU

    Published 2012-02-01
“…An efficient pre-repeat cooperative go-back-N automatic repeat request(PC-GBN-CARQ)algorithm for slow fading TDD/TDMA-based Wireless Networks was proposed.Taking advantage of the multiple access property of TDMA,the proposed scheme enabled both the source and the relay to retransmit packets to the destination simultaneously, which could greatly increase the successful probability of the retransmission. When the source was sending a group of data packets,it also sent 8bit of attached message to tell the relay about which packets among the group would be probably error in transmission, which was the result predicted based on TDD reciprocity,so that the relay could also pre-retransmit these packets like the source does.It should be very effective to raise the transmission efficiency.Simulation results show that the proposed algorithms can get an S/N ratio gain of about 5dB compared with the conventional ones for the normalized throughput of 0.7.…”

Performance analysis for cooperative NOMA networks based SWIPT with adaptive power splitting by Zheng YANG, Yun ZHENG, Yuehao YU, Yi WU, Zhicheng DONG, Song XING

    Published 2023-01-01
“…In order to improve the spectrum effectiveness, decrease the power consumption of wireless communication system, for a two-way cooperative non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) network with simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT), an adaptive power splitting scheme of SWIPT was proposed.Based on the decode-and-forward protocol and the users’ distance information, the successive interference cancellation was carried out at the relay to decode the users’ messages and harvest the energy from the sources. An adaptive power splitting scheme was proposed based on users’ channel state information, which the relay could successfully decode the users’ information and harvest the most energy from the sources.Based on the harvested energy, the relay forwarded the decoded information of the users in the next time slot.According to the proposed adaptive power splitting scheme, the overall outage probability, end-to-end outage probability, and the diversity gain at high signal-to-noise ratio were derived.Compared with three-way cooperative orthogonal multiple access network with fixed power splitting of SWIPT, the proposed adaptive power splitting of SWIPT for two-way cooperative NOMA networks can achieve much better outage performance.…”
