A Proposed Chaotic-Switched Turbo Coding Design and Its Application for Half-Duplex Relay Channel by Tamer H. M. Soliman, Fengfan Yang, S. Ejaz

    Published 2015-01-01
“…Extensions of these chaotic-switched turbo coding schemes to half-duplex relay systems are also described. Results of simulations of these new secure turbo coding schemes are compared to classical turbo codes with the same coding parameters and the proposed system is able to achieve secured reasonable bit error rate performance when it is made to switch between different puncturing and design configuration parameters especially with low switching rates.…”

Secure relay node selection method based on Q-learning for fog computing in 5G network by Shanshan TU, Jinliang YU, Yuan MENG, M WWAQAS, Lei LIU

    Published 2019-07-01
“…A Q-learning-based optimal dual-relay node selection method was proposed. Firstly, a security fog computing structure model based on social awareness was constructed, and then an optimal dual-relay node selection method based on Q-learning algorithm was designed under this model, which achieved the selection of optimal dual-relay nodes in dynamic environment. …”

Outage and Throughput Analysis of Cooperative Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access based SWIPT Cognitive Relay Network by Abdul Ali Khan, Punithavathi M. Thirunavakkarasu, Nawaf Waqas

    Published 2025-01-01
“…Two distinct scenarios: one where a direct link exists between the source node S and the far user F, and another one where communication relies on an indirect path incorporating relay node N between node S and F. A new cooperative NOMA based SWIPT cognitive relay protocol is proposed, where a primary user S transmits a composite signal containing information of a near N and far user F, N which acts as an energy harvesting relay first apply NOMA to decode far user information to get its own information The remaining power is harvested by the relay node, and this harvested power is used to transmit information to both the far and cognitive users, respectively. …”

Detection probability analysis of cooperative spectrum sensing with the Nthbest relay selection by Xiao-ge ZHANG, Shi-bing ZHANG, Gong-an QIU

    Published 2011-11-01
“…In the cognitive radio system, the optimal relay would be selected from the n available ones to obtain the best sensing performance. However,in actual systems, the secondary or even the more general Nthbest relay may be selected for various reasons. Therefore, the cooperative spectrum sensing based on the Nthbest relay selection was proposed. The closed-form expression of the detection probability was derived in Rayleigh fading channels.Numerical results show that the detection probability declines continuously even below the one of the arbitrary selection as N increases, and that the one based on the optimal or suboptimal selection increases obviously but the one based on the worst or near worst selection decreases slightly as n increases.…”

Game Theoretical Approaches for Optimizing Multi-Carrier Half-Duplex Successive Relaying Based Cooperative NOMA by H. Horler, B. Rastegari, S. X. Ng

    Published 2024-01-01
“…In this work, a novel power auctioneers network is proposed to allow the sharing of resources from Edge Users in exchange for performance gains using either the Cooperative Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access (C-NOMA) or Half-Duplex Successive Relaying based C-NOMA protocol. The latter is presented as a novel method of using two relays in C-NOMA through successive relaying to overcome the multiplexing loss in traditional C-NOMA of the far user. …”
