Scalable Low Power Accelerator for Sparse Recurrent Neural Network by Panshi JIN, Junjie LI, Jingyi WANG, Pengchong LI, Lei XING, Xiaodong LI

    Published 2023-12-01
“…The use of edge computing devices in bank outlets for passenger flow analysis, security protection, risk prevention and control is increasingly widespread, among which the performance and power consumption of AI reasoning chips have become a very important factor in the selection of edge computing devices.Aiming at the problems of recurrent neural network, such as high power consumption, weak reasoning performance and low energy efficiency, which were caused by data dependence and low data reusability, this paper realized a sparse RNN low-power accelerator with scalable voltage by using FPGA, and verifies it on the edge design and calculation equipment.Firstly, the sparse -RNN was analyzed and the processing array was designed by network compression.Secondly, due to the unbalanced workload of sparse RNN, it introduced voltage scaling method to maintain low power consumption and high throughput.Experiments show that this method could significantly improve the RNN reasoning speed of the system and reduce the processing power consumption of the chip.…”

Non-interference trusted model based on processes by ZHANG Xing1, CHEN You-lei2, SHEN Chang-xiang2

    Published 2009-01-01
“…A novel abstract model for the design of trusted computing platform system was proposed.By using the basic idea of non-interference theory as reference and introduces the reasoning method of process algebra, thus abstracting the system as processes, actions, states and outputs, and giving the formal definition of the trusted of process running.Process isolation trusted theorem was verified formally.Furthermore, by associating process with system state, the definition and the theorem of system running trusted was proposed. The model was established by logic reasoning and independent of special security mechanism and enforcement. The trust of the running system can be realized by any method which satisfies the conditions of the model.…”

Research on dual process theory based telecom augmented cognition by Xiaoxing LIAN, Yong SONG, Jun ZHU, Shuling WANG, Xiaozhou YE, Ye OUYANG

    Published 2024-01-01
“…Incorporating the current works in augmented large language models (LLM), a dual process theory based telecom augmented cognition architecture (TACA) was proposed. This architecture addressed challenges faced by LLM in the field of telecom, such as lack of domain-specific knowledge and limited reasoning capabilities. It aims to enhance cognitive reasoning, knowledge integration, tooling, and autonomous decision-execution capabilities for complex telco-scenarios.Technical application references for different telco-scenarios were provided, and the effectiveness and feasibility of the augmented cognition solution were preliminarily validated in addressing complex problems through experiments. The proposed TACA can serve as a future reference architecture for the application of LLMs in the telecom industry.…”
