A Mathematical Programming Approach to Supply Chain Network Design considering Shareholder Value Creation by Abbas Biglar, Nima Hamta, Mona Ahmadi Rad

    Published 2022-01-01
“…The developed model with a new financial approach is able to improve the total created shareholder value as much as 0.7% larger than the SVA obtained without financial aspects and 0.93% larger than the value created by the basic model. The main reason for an increase in value creation is due to new operational and financial aspects, which mainly show the possibility of closing facilities and bank debt repayments. …”

3D WSN clustering routing algorithm based on IHBA optimized fuzzy C-means by Jing YANG, Biyang XU, Weizheng LI, Wei LI, Zhaoqiang ZHU, Tao QIN

    Published 2023-12-01
“…Aiming at the problem that clustering routing algorithm in a three-dimensional (3D) scene has high energy consumption and short network lifetime, a clustering routing algorithm IFCRA for 3D wireless sensor networks based on improved honey badger algorithm optimized fuzzy C-means was proposed. The network clustering, cluster head election, and data transmission stages were optimized respectively.Firstly, the improved honey badger algorithm was used to optimize the fuzzy C-means algorithm, solving the problem of fuzzy C-means easily falling into local optima, and the topological structure was divided based on the distance and energy characteristics of nodes.Secondly, the optimal cluster head function was constructed by combining the energy and relative distance of nodes within the cluster to balance the cluster head load. Finally, an adaptive transmission mechanism was used to search for relay nodes, and the optimal transmission path function was constructed by combining node distance and energy. The improved honey badger algorithm was used to optimize the data transmission energy consumption.Simulation results show that IFCRA has reasonable clustering, balanced energy consumption, and long lifespan in a 3D heterogeneous scene.…”

Efficient resource allocation with context-awareness for parked car road side unit-based Internet of vehicles by Peng QIN, Haoting HE, Xiongwen ZHAO, Yang FU, Yu ZHANG, Miao WANG, Shuo WANG, Xue WU

    Published 2022-07-01
“…In order to reduce the number of road side unit (RSU) and meet the needs of mobile vehicle users for processing latency-sensitive and computation-intensive tasks, a context-aware resource allocation algorithm was proposed based on parked cars.Road side parked vehicles were selected to serve the vehicle users instead of RSU using parking time as a factor for determining whether a parked vehicle could become a parked car roadside unit (PCRSU).In order to further reduce the system response time, a mechanism was designed considering content caching and distribution. In respect to user content caching, PCRSU made personalized content recommendation for vehicle users with awareness by using two elements of user historical search data and point of interest (PoI) area type.In respect to content distribution, PCRSU allocated bandwidth efficiently by sensing the data transmission needs of vehicle users.Extensive experiments show that compared with the existing benchmark methods, the proposed algorithm can select PCRSU more reasonably, effectively reduce the demand response delay, improve the stability of the network while ensuring network coverage, and provide more accurate service content for vehicle users.…”
