Blind video watermarking algorithm based on correlations between neighboring frames by GAO Qi, LI Ren-hou, LIU Lian-shan

“…A blind video watermarking method was proposed,in which the watermark composed of symbol part and in-formation part was embedded into the original video frames.After some video frames hiding the watermark were selected randomly from one segment of the video sequences,the symbol water mark was embedded into low frequency discrete cosine transform（DCT） coefficients of fixed blocks of such frames,whereas the information water mark was embedded into direct current coefficients of some other blocks selected by a cryptographic key.Repeat embedding till the whole video was watermarked.To extract the information watermark,the frames holding watermark were found out by detect-ing water the symbol mark rapidly from one video segment whose length was long enough to hold the whole watermark.Then,by using the high correlations between the watermarked frame and its neighboring frames,the pixel values of the blocks where the watermark was embedded can be well estimated.Comparing the estimated values with the current val-ues in the corresponding positions,the information watermark could be reconstructed.Experimental results show that this video watermarking method is robust against attacks such as compression,scaling,frame dropping,etc.…”

Self-adaptive differential evolution algorithm based on population state information by Weijie MAI, Weili LIU, Jinghui ZHONG

“…The local optimum and stagnation state information of the population seriously affects the performance of differential evolution (DE) algorithm.An advanced DE algorithm with population state processing measures was proposed to address the above two issues.When the population falled into the local optimum, the individuals in the population were learned randomly by LBFGS method to improve the global quality of the solution, and Gaussian mutation was employed to trigger new individuals to jump out of local optimum.As for the stagnation state, the covariance matrix of the population was applied to reorganize the target individuals based on the rotation of the spatial coordinates to suppress the stagnation state of the population and enhance the global search ability of the algorithm.In addition, a new selection strategy was designed, which built an external archive to store abandoned individuals after greedy selection.When the trial individual was inferior to the target individual, the algorithm no longer generated the next generation with greedy selection strategy, but made reasonable intelligent selection around the external archive to ensure that the algorithm converges to the global optimum.Compared with eight state-of-the-art DE algorithms on 29 benchmark functions, the experimental results show that the proposed algorithm has better performance in terms of the solution accuracy and convergence speed.…”

“…Due to the advantages of license-free,strong directionality,high system capacity,and high transmission rate of Gbit/s,60 GHz band is listed as one of the candidate bands for new radios (new radio).In 5G ultra-dense networking scenario,the randomness of node switching caused by the decrease of the distance between network nodes may cause severe multiple access interference and resource mismatch problems.In this regard,based on the concept of cross-layer collaborative design,a resource scheduling strategy based on fairness was proposed.The multiple access performance of the strategy was simulated in a 60 GHz pulsed wireless communication system based on TH-PAM (time hopping pulse amplitude modulation).Simulation results show that compared with the system with pure physical layer optimization algorithm,the multiple access system which adopts this strategy shows stronger fairness and lower system error rate,but it needs increase the transmission power to meet the requirements of the coverage of the equivalent communication system.That is,there is a certain trade-off between the energy and fairness of the system,which can be used to guide the structure and deployment of the actual communication system.…”
