    Published 2020-01-01
“…At low baryonic density or high energies, both deconfinement and chemical freezeout boundaries are likely coincident, and therefore, the agreement with the lattice simulations becomes excellent as well, while at large baryonic density, the two boundaries become distinguishable forming a phase where hadrons and quark-gluon plasma likely coexist.…”

Electromagnetic Radiations from Heavy Ion Collision by Payal Mohanty, Sabyasachi Ghosh, Sukanya Mitra

    Published 2013-01-01
“…In the calculations of interferometry involving dilepton pairs, it is argued that the nonmonotonic variation of HBT radii with invariant mass of the lepton pairs signals the formation of quark gluon plasma in HIC. Elliptic flow (v2) of dilepton is also studied at sNN=2.76 TeV for 30–40% centrality using the (2+1)d hydrodynamical model.…”

    Heavy $$K^*$$ K ∗ mesons with open charm from $$KD^{(*)}D^*$$ K D ( ∗ ) D ∗ interactions by Xiu-Lei Ren, K. P. Khemchandani, A. Martínez Torres

    Published 2024-12-01
    “…Abstract In view of the recent discovery of $$T_{cc}$$ T cc , which can be described as a $$DD^*$$ D D ∗ molecular state, we perform a study of the $$KDD^*$$ K D D ∗ system, and its extension to studying $$KD^*D^*$$ K D ∗ D ∗ , where $$D^*D^*$$ D ∗ D ∗ is bound as a spin 1 $$T_{cc}$$ T cc -like state, to search for the possible existence of exotic mesons with the open flavors ccs being part of their quark configuration. Considering the additional attractive interactions present in the KD and $$KD^*$$ K D ∗ subsystems, where the states $$D^*_{s0}(2317)$$ D s 0 ∗ ( 2317 ) and $$D_{s1}(2460)$$ D s 1 ( 2460 ) are generated, we solve the Faddeev equations considering the fixed-center approximation for the mentioned three-body systems and find the existence of two doubly charmed $$K^*$$ K ∗ -like mesons, $$K_{cc}^*(4309)$$ K cc ∗ ( 4309 ) and $$K_{cc}^*(4449)$$ K cc ∗ ( 4449 ) , with quantum numbers $$I(J^P)=1/2\,(1^-)$$ I ( J P ) = 1 / 2 ( 1 - ) . …”

Study of b⟶c Induced B¯∗⟶Vℓν¯ℓ Decays by Qin Chang, Xiao-Lin Wang, Jie Zhu, Xiao-Nan Li

    Published 2020-01-01

These decays involve much more helicity states relative to the corresponding B¯∗⟶Pℓ−ν¯ℓ and B¯⟶Vℓ−ν¯ℓ decays, and moreover, the contribution of longitudinal polarization mode (V meson) is relatively small, ~30%, compared with the corresponding B meson decays. …”
