Research on the invulnerability of regional network based on topology analysis by Changqing AN, Yujia LIU, Hui WANG, Zhiyan ZHENG, Tao YU, Jilong WANG

    Published 2021-11-01
“…To measure the overall impact of different attacks a network region may encounter, an evaluation algorithm can be used to capture the difference in invulnerability of regional network topologies.Specifically, the vulnerability of regional network and that of connection topology between regions both internally and externally was analyzed. To find predictions between regions as supplemental topology data and create the Internet topology, data would be measured in various ways and verified.Using stratified probability sampling, multiple damage simulations could predict the worst-case scenarios in real conditions.Damage was simulated multiple times based on stratified probability sampling to approximate the damage situation of the area under real conditions.A significance tester was realized to measure the impact of damage from the overall level and special weak points respectively, discover the difference of the damage between the areas, and calculate the regional invulnerability ranking. Finally, the ranking and clustering results of forty-eight regions were given.…”

Opportunistic spectrum access method for cognitive radio sensor network of typical deployment strategies by Wen-xiang LI, Ya-jie MA, Peng KE

    Published 2014-11-01
“…Explored the opportunistic spectrum access method for cognitive radio sensor networks with regular topology patterns and coverage patterns. The method includes an economic spectrum-and-timeslot-allocation scheme,a sensing-results-reporting scheme and a cooperative spectrum-sensing scheme.A model was proposed for analyzing the blocking and dropping probability for secondary users, the effective reception bandwidth and transmission delay.Numerical analysis shows that Triangle yields the optimal cooperative sensing performance, and square yields the optimal reception bandwidth. In case of complete coverage,Square and triangle lead to less transmission delay, and in case of multiple coverage, square leads to the least transmission delay. The false alarm probability of single node has little impact on transmission delay, and Primary User’s activity may affect delay noticeably. On the other hand, larger ratio of transmission timeslot to sensing timeslot helps to decrease delay.…”

Weighted evidence combination based on degree of credibility and certainty by Lu WANG, Qing-hua XING, Yi-fan MAO

    Published 2017-01-01
“…To overcome the invalidation problem of Dempster rule with high conflict,a weighted combination method based on degree of credibility and certainty was proposed.Firstly, the cosine similarity was modified to hold the ability to measure the evidence conflict when multi-subset focal elements were included, followed by the building of evidence credibility model.Secondly, the evidence certainty model based on precision and entropy was presented, which can both reflect the evidence’s degree of multi-subset focal elements and the dispersion degree of probability assignment. Then the weighted coefficient was determined by credibility and certainty. Finally, the normalized weighted coefficient was used to average the basic probability assignment, and the final combination result can be obtained according to Dempster rule.Numerical examples show that, compared with other traditional weighted combination methods, the proposed approach has made better performance in reducing conflict and accelerating convergence.…”

    Published 2006-01-01
“…The compromise between the utilization rate of valuable satellite channels and the blocking probability of new call was hardly to achieve.Enlightened by the advantages of ad hoc networking,a new scheme was proposed which al-lowed the terminals to work in alternative mode according the instructions from the satellite’s signaling channel, meaned to communicate with other terminals in ad hoc mode when they were in a distance shorter than the maximum ad hoc communication distance and when the system was in busy state or in normal satellite communication mode when the system was idle.So the overflow traffic in nearer distance might get serviced with ad hoc mode and the system’s parame-ters was improved.Simulation results show that the proposed scheme has decreased the realistic call blocking probability and increased the valid channel utility rate of the system.…”

    Published 2020-04-01
“…Aiming at the problem that the initial detection performance of voice segment was poor, and the voice continuity structure was damaged in voice communication,a noisy voice detection algorithm based on feature stream fusion was proposed.Firstly, the time domain feature stream, the spectral pattern feature stream and the statistical feature stream were extracted according to the voice characteristics.Secondly, the voice segment in the noisy audio was estimated by different voice feature streams. Finally, the voice prediction probability obtained by each feature stream was weighted and fused, and the voice estimation probability was processed in short time by the hidden Markov model. The performance test of composite voice database under the condition of multi-type noise and different signal-to-noise ratio shows that compared with the baseline model based on Bayesian and DNN classifier, the voice detection accuracy of the proposed algorithm is improved by 21.26% and 11.01% respectively, and the quality of target voice is significantly improved.…”

Research on accurate ranging of UWB under indoor environments by WU Shao-hua, ZHANG Nai-tong

    Published 2007-01-01
“…The accurate ranging ability of ultra wideband(UWB) signal under IEEE 802.15.4a indoor channel model was studied. An improved time-of-arrival(TOA) estimation algorithm which utilizes region search and threshold comparison was proposed.By statistical analysis on certain characteristics of the CM1 and CM2 channel profiles, the probability model of TOA estimation error was deduced. The thresholds of the proposed TOA estimation algorithm were then set by limiting the error probability to the lowest level. The mean absolute ranging errors under different SNR were simulated. Results show that high enough SNR should be guaranteed in order to obtain centimeter-level ranging precision under in-door environments, while extremely high SNR would not help to improve the ranging precision any more but lead to a performance floor. The results have instructional significance on designing localization algorithms and transmission power control in practical ranging.…”

    Published 2022-09-01
“…In the actual array direction finding system, there are often a variety of errors such as amplitude and phase, mutual coupling, which lead to serious deterioration of array direction finding performance. In order to solve the problem of array direction finding misalignment in the presence of low signal-to-noise ratio, small snapshots and multiple errors, the spatial sparsity of signals were introduced, and Bayesian sparse reconstruction technology was used to solve the passive correction and joint estimation of array signal azimuth in the presence of amplitude-phase and mutual coupling errors. The over-complete model of the received signal with error was constructed, and the posterior probability density function of the received signal was obtained. The EM algorithm was used to iteratively optimize the probability density function to solve the corresponding parameters. At the same time, the CRLB of array error and signal azimuth was derived, and by experimental simulation verifies the effectiveness of the proposed method.…”

Secrecy analysis for orthogonal time frequency space technique based LEO satellite communication by Zan LI, Junfan HU, Bing LI, Jia SHI, Jiangbo SI

    Published 2021-08-01
“…In order to improve the security performance of low earth orbit (LEO) satellite downlink communication system, a cooperative UAV was employed to send jamming signals against the eavesdroppers. In particular, the downlink transmission was based on the orthogonal time frequency space (OTFS) technique to combat the severe Doppler effect caused by the high mobility of the LEO satellite. The closed form expression for the security outage probability (SOP) was derived at the legitimate receiver, where a novel moment matching approach was used for finding a summed probability distribution function (PDF) of the shadowed-Rician (SR) distributed terms.Simulation results prove that the SOP performance advantage of the downlink LEO satellite communication achieved by OTFS over OFDM scheme, and show the effectiveness of employing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) jammer in terms of enhancing secrecy transmission.…”
