Design and analysis of active queue management algorithm based on predictive control by WANG Ping, CHEN Hong, LU Xiao-hui

    Published 2011-01-01
“…Model predictive control as a novel active queue management(AQM) algorithm was proposed for Internet system with large delay, called MPAQM.Considering the causality of time-delay system, the predicted output was defined. Then, the control requirement was converted to the optimal control objective, and the drop probability was obtained by solving the optimal problem.Furthermore, the delay-independent stability condition of closed-loop system was derived, which gave the guidelines how to select the parameters of MPAQM algorithm to assure the stability and fast convergence of the network system. The performances of MPAQM were evaluated through a series of simulations in NS2 under the single/multiple topology. The simulation results show that the queue length with MPAQM algorithm reaches the desired value with minimal tracking error and lower drop probability.MPAQM algorithm outperforms RED,PI and SPI-RED algorithms in terms of disturbance rejection, stability, and robustness.…”

Text steganography method based on automatic selection coding and dynamic word selection strategy by Hui LI, Jiali JIN, Shuyu JIN, Weijiao MA

    Published 2022-09-01
“…A text steganography method based on automatic selection coding and dynamic word selection strategy was proposed for the inflexible text coding method and candidate word increasing number leading to the low quality of generated steganographic text.Steganographic translations was generated based on Transformer’s neural machine translation model. In generating steganographic translations, fixed-length coding and Huffman coding were used to establish the mapping relationship between candidate words and codewords, and dynamic word selection based on the probability difference threshold was achieved by calculating the probability difference percentage between steganographic words and normal words. Finally, the size of the two generated steganographic translations Sacrebleu was compared to realize the automatic selection of coding mode. The experimental results show that the proposed method can generate steganographic translations with high fluency and readability. When the embedding rate is 11.19%, the Sacrebleu of the steganographic translation reaches 10.53.…”

Research on the multiuser MIMO linear cooperative spectrum sensing in cognitive radio networks by Yong-qiang HEI, Xiao-hui LI, Wen-tao LI

    Published 2012-02-01
“…The multiuser MIMO based linear cooperative spectrum sensing problem was investigated in cognitive radio system to improve the reliability of spectrum sensing. Both the local spectrum detecting strategy and global spectrum detecting strategy for multiuser MIMO based linear cooperative spectrum sensing system were derived. Then the optimization model that the different weights assigned on the receive signals of each user at the fusion center for global decision were optimized to maximize the detection probability given a targeted probability of false alarm is established.Furthermore, genetic algorithm (GA) was introduced to find the optimal weight vector of the above-mentioned cooperative spectrum sensing problem, with the purpose of reducing the sensing time in the spectrum sensing process. The simulation results show that, the reliability of spectrum sensing in cooperative spectrum sensing system can be efficiently enhanced with multiple antennas.Besides, the proposed GA method is efficient and stable, and achieves better detection performance when compared with the existing methods.…”

Risk assessment method for network attack surface based on Bayesian attack graph by Yuyang ZHOU, Guang CHENG, Chunsheng GUO

    Published 2018-06-01
“…Aiming at the lack of objective risk assessment for the network attack surface on moving target defense,in order to realize the security risk assessment for the network system, and calculate the potential attack paths,a risk assessment method for network attack surface based on Bayesian attack graph was proposed. The network system resources, vulnerability and dependencies between them were used to establish Bayesian attack graph.Considering dependencies between nodes, the correlation between the resource and the influence of attacks on the attack path, the probability of each state that attackers can reach and the maximum probability attack path can be inferred. The experimental results prove the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed network attack surface risk assessment method, which can provide a good support for the selection of dynamic defensive measures of attack surface.…”
