Fast motion estimation in multi-view video coding by ZHAO Zhi-jie, FAN Zhi-peng, JIN Xue-song, MA Li, NIU Lian-ding

    Published 2011-01-01
“…To improve the speed of motion estimation in multi-view video coding system,a fast motion estimation algo-rithm based on Markov chain model was proposed. This algorithm established a predicted motion vector set by making full use of the correlation between the motion vectors of frames and views.According to the transition probabilities of Markov chain model, test of the predicted motion vector are performed in advance. Then finish fast motion estimation by the early elimination conditions.Experimental results demonstrate that this algorithm is able to improve the speed by av-erage 99% and the PSNR decrease by average 0.16dB in motion estimation process compared with full search algorithm in the multi-view video sequences. There is a significant improvement in the motion estimation using this algorithm for multi-view video coding.…”

    Several Geological Issues of Schrödinger Basin Exposed by CE-2 CELMS Data by Z. G. Meng, H. H. Wang, Y. C. Zheng, Y. Z. Wang, H. Miyamoto, Z. C. Cai, J. S. Ping, Y. Z. Zhu

    Published 2019-01-01
“…The results are as follows. (1) The geological units are reevaluated with the CELMS data and a new geological view was provided according to the brightness temperature and emissivity maps. (2) The surface topography plays an important role in the observed CELMS data. (3) The hot anomaly in the basin floor indicates a warm substrate. (4) The pyroxene-bearing anorthosite is probably an important cause for the cold anomaly over the lunar surface. …”
