A novel deep learning based time-varying channel prediction method by Jie ZHANG, Lihua YANG, Zenghao WANG, Bo HU, Qian NIE

    Published 2021-01-01
“…For high-speed mobile orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems, a novel time-varying channel prediction method based on deep learning was proposed. To avoid the influence caused by random initialization of network parameters, the proposed method firstly obtains an ideal channel estimation based on data and pilot, and then pre-trains the back propagation (BP) neural network based on the channel estimation to obtain the ideal network initial parameters. Then, based on the initial network value obtained by pre-training, the proposed method uses the channel estimation based on pilot to train the BP neural network again. Finally, the proposed method realizes the single-time-and multi-time prediction of time-varying channels through on-line prediction.Simulation results show that the proposed method can significantly improve the prediction accuracy of time-varying channels and has a low computational complexity.…”

Study of multiple frequency-offset and channel joint ML estimation over virtual multi-antennas OFDM system by JIANG Jian, JIANG Hua, YAN Kai, LIU Hai-tao

    Published 2010-01-01
“…A pilot-aided joint estimation of the carrier frequency offsets(CFO) and channels of a virtual multi-anten-nas(VMA) orthogonal frequency-division multiple(OFDM) system was considered. For a VMA-OFDM system, each pair of transmit and receive antennas possibly having a different CFO and CIR(channel impulse response) parameters made the parameters joint estimation a challenge task.By utilizing the series expansion of the matrix inversion and maximum likelihood(ML) criterion,a computationally efficient estimator allowing for simultaneously estimating the unknown pa-rameters was developed. The mean square-error(MSE) performance of the interested parameters for the proposed estima-tor was compared with the Cramer-Rao bound(CRB).In addition, the pilot sequence design was investigated by analysis and simulations.Simulation results show that the proposed low-complexity estimator asymptotically achieves the CRB and overcomes the drawbacks of existing estimators.…”

Novel navigation signal design based on spreading code time shift position modulation by Jiafang KANG, Hongxing WANG, Xiguo LIU, Peilin ZHONG, Bifeng LI

    Published 2020-04-01
“…A novel navigation signal design method based on spread code time shift position modulation was proposed, which inherits the idea of separating the pilot signal component and the data signal component, and applies time shift position of the spread code to carry data information. The old pattern of using carrier phase to carry information was changed, the power efficiency of data signal components and the performances of the satellite navigation system were improved.Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the proposed method can significantly improve the transmission rate of data signal component or power ratio of the pilot signal component to data signal component without increasing the total transmission power. Then, the transmission rate, acquisition and tracking performance, positioning accuracy and other technical indicators of the satellite navigation system can be further improved.…”

Management and Control Strategy for Water Pollutant Discharge from Key Industries in the River Basin by LING Yaozhong, HAN Nini, PENG Xiang, WANG Chunling

    Published 2022-01-01
“…The pollution is in the water while the source is on the shore. The pollutants in a river mainly come from the discharged onshore industrial and domestic sewage.Among them, the pollutants in the industrial wastewater from industrial enterprises have always been the difficulties in the environmental management of a river basin due to their large quantity, wide distribution, and complex types.Taking the electronics manufacturing industry,a key industry in the Shima River (Dongguan section) Basin,as a pilot, this paper puts forward a screening method for key industries in the basin from three aspects:the trend of regional development planning, the industrial economic structure of basin development, and the main pollution indicators. Then,it proposes a hierarchical evaluation standard system and differentiated management methods and further determines a management and control and risk prevention plan for water pollutant discharge from key industries in the basin to accumulate pilot experience for the supervision of industrial enterprises in the river basin.…”

Design and implementation of AI-based all-scenario intelligent base station power-saving system by Wei ZHAO, Bei LI, Ning MENG, Tingwei WANG, Junfan LIN, Le CHEN, Yuhua HU, Hanyuan YANG

    Published 2022-08-01
“…In the context of intensive network construction, how to realize automatic, intelligent, and experienceguaranteed base station energy consumption management has become a pain point for current operators in operation management.A 3G/4G/5G smart base station power saving solution with full intelligent detection, full-scenario modeling, and full-process self-service was innovatively proposed. The coverage scene was distinguished by a dynamic time warping algorithm, and the SARIMA model was used to predict the time frame to build the model dynamically.Monitoring indicators ensured quality of experience, automatically issue power-saving strategies, and promptly raise SMS alerts. In the case that the user had no perception, the energy consumption of the base station was saved to the greatest extent at the cell granularity level. This method had been implemented on a pilot study in a province. The average annual power saving efficiency of a single station in the pilot area can reach 9.24% per day per station, which can be put in actual production.…”
