Integrate mathematical modeling for heat dynamics in two-phase casson fluid flow through renal tubes with variable wall properties
Published 2025-01-01“…The simulations illustrate that electromagnetic radiation can effectively manipulate the pumping properties in urology. The originality of this study lies in the concurrent examination of a generalised two-phase model, partial wall slip, non-Newtonian fluid properties, cross diffusion, magnetic body force, elastic wall behaviour in the presence of debris, and curvature effects in peristaltic urological transport, a comprehensive approach not previously explored. …”

Assessing water and energy fluxes in a regional hydrosystem: case study of the Seine basin
Published 2022-12-01“…In this paper, one of the first attempts to jointly model water and energy fluxes with a special focus on both surface and groundwater at the regional scale is proposed on the Seine hydrosystem (78,650 km$^{2}$), which overlays one of the main multi-aquifer systems of Europe. This study couples the SVAT model ORCHIDEE and the process-based hydrological–hydrogeological model CaWaQS, which describes water fluxes, via a one-way coupling approach from ORCHIDEE toward CaWaQS based on the blueprint published by [de Marsily et al., 1978]. An original transport library based on the resolution of the diffusion/advection transport equation was developed in order to simulate heat transfer in both 1D-river networks and pseudo-3D aquifer systems. …”

Coronil effectively inhibits the interaction of clinically relevant Omicron mutants of SARS-CoV-2 spike proteins with human ACE2 receptor
Published 2025-02-01“…Background: Accumulating evidence suggests that the receptor binding domain (RBD) of the SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant has several times more binding affinity to the human angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) receptor compared to the RBD of the original Covid-19 strain. This increased binding affinity of the Omicron variant is responsible for its increased internalization and infectivity. …”
