Combining Innovative Bioink and Low Cell Density for the Production of 3D-Bioprinted Cartilage Substitutes: A Pilot Study
Published 2020-01-01“…We present herein the development of cartilage implants by 3D bioprinting that deliver MSCs encapsulated in an original bioink at low concentration. 3D-bioprinted constructs (10×10×4 mm) were printed using alginate/gelatin/fibrinogen bioink mixed with human bone marrow MSCs. …”

Relationship between the Apical Preparation Diameter and the Apical Seal: An In Vitro Study
Published 2018-01-01“…The aim of the study is to define the relationship between the apical preparation diameter and the apical sealing ability to highlight the importance of the preservation of the diameter and the original position of the apical foramen. Materials and Methods. 50 extracted maxillary incisors were randomly allocated into three groups of 15 teeth each (n = 15) according to the apical preparation size: Group 1: finishing file F1 corresponding to size 20 reached the working length (ProTaper Universal system Dentsply®); Group 2: prepared up to size 30 corresponding to finishing file F30; Group 3: prepared up to size 50 corresponding to finishing file F5. …”

Human-Vehicle Intersection Traffic Lights Timing Optimization Research
Published 2022-01-01“…The optimal scheme is obtained and the result shows that (1) the number of passing vehicles remains unchanged, with the queuing delay reduced by 5.78% and crosswalk passing speed increased by 19.01% compared with the original one. (2) As the scheme effect is positively correlated with the increase of right turn vehicle numbers, the scheme could be adopted for urban traffic management based on the local situation, which is not only in peak traffic hours but also in the flat peak time to ensure vehicle efficiency and pedestrian safety in the light of “vehicle yielding to pedestrians” regulation. (3) The scheme could also be adopted in cities with no “vehicle yielding to pedestrians” policy for both people-vehicle separation and pedestrian safety when crossing streets.…”

A Method for the Inversion of Reservoir Effective Permeability Based on Time-Lapse Resistivity Logging Data and Its Application
Published 2022-01-01“…First, based on the resistivity measurement data at different times, the dynamic resistivity profile of the reservoir was obtained through joint inversion; we then obtained the invasion depth and invasion zone resistivity of the drilling fluid at different times, along with the original formation resistivity. Subsequently, combined with parameters such as the soaking time, fluid viscosity, and saturation change of the drilling fluid, we obtained the phase permeability curve of the reservoir and dynamic effective permeability of the fluid near the wellbore. …”

In memoria Jorge Schvarzer (1938-2008)
