Effect of Acetyl tributyl citrate on bone metabolism based on network toxicology and molecular docking technology
Published 2025-01-01“…Following rigorous refinement using the STRING platform and Cytoscape software, we pinpointed ten core targets, encompassing KDM1A, EP300, HDAC2, EHMT2, DNMT1, and several others. In-depth Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathway analyses, conducted within the Metascape database, revealed that the core targets of ATBC’s influence on bone metabolism are predominantly concentrated within vital signaling cascades, including thyroid hormone signaling, FOXO signaling, glucagon signaling, AMPK signaling, insulin signaling, adipocytokine signaling, and Notch signaling pathways. …”

The dual anti-inflammatory and anticoagulant effects of Jianpi Huashi Tongluo prescription on Rheumatoid Arthritis through inhibiting the activation of the PI3K/AKT signaling pathw...
Published 2025-02-01“…Animal experimental data indicated that XFC effectively reduced the levels of inflammatory and coagulant markers (IL-6, D-D, FBG, PAF, VEGF, and TF) in adjuvant-induced arthritis (AA) rats while enhancing the expression of anti-inflammatory factors (IL-10) (p < 0.05). Furthermore, Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) results suggested that the pharmacodynamic mechanism of XFC may be closely related to the regulation of the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway. …”

Developmental Proteomics Reveals the Dynamic Expression Profile of Global Proteins of <i>Haemaphysalis longicornis</i> (Parthenogenesis)
Published 2025-01-01“…Here, we used the isobaric tags for a relative and absolute quantification (iTRAQ) technique to systematically describe and analyze the dynamic expression of the protein and the molecular basis of the proteome of <i>H. longicornis</i> in seven differential developmental stages (eggs, unfed larvae, engorged larvae, unfed nymphs, engorged nymphs unfed adults, and engorged adults). Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) analysis of the differentially expressed proteins (DEPs) were used. …”

Better understanding the phenotypic effects of drugs through shared targets in genetic disease networks
Published 2025-01-01“…Gaining traction in this field is the use of disease data linking genes with pathological phenotypes and combining this with drugtarget interaction data.MethodsWe introduce methodology to associate drugs with effects, both intended and adverse, using a tripartite network approach that combines drug-target and target-phenotype data, in which targets can be represented as proteins and protein domains.ResultsWe were able to detect associations for over 140,000 ChEMBL drugs and 3,800 phenotypes, represented as Human Phenotype Ontology (HPO) terms. The overlap of these results with the SIDER databases of known drug side effects was up to 10 times higher than random, depending on the target type, disease database and score threshold used. …”
