Low complexity hybrid precoding algorithm for massive MIMO based on modified Newton method by Bo HU, Anding WANG, Guiyi WEI

    Published 2023-11-01
“…A phase tracking algorithm was proposed for massivemultiple-input multiple-output(MIMO) systems based on the modified Newton (MN) method, which effectively reduced the high computational complexity in traditional high-performance hybrid precoding schemes. The algorithm optimized the analog precoding matrix from the perspective ofsub-dimensional vector recovery. In each sub-dimension optimization, the phase tracking method was used to transform the recovery of the analog precoding vectors into an unconstrained nonlinear optimization problem, which was then solved using the MN method.Concurrently, this strategy led to a marked reduction in the computational intricacy pertaining to both the computation of correction factors and the inversion of the Hessian matrix within the framework of the MN method. This was achieved through the insightful incorporation of Gerschgorin’s Disk theorem and the Hermitian matrix block-inverse lemma.Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has higher spectral efficiency and lower computational complexity than several conventional high-performance hybrid precoding schemes.…”

Characteristic Analysis of the Stick-Slip Vibration of Gear Transmission System in High-speed Train by Li Fuzhong, Huang Guanhua, He Hongyun

    Published 2015-01-01
“…In order to study the torsional vibration of gear transmission system under slippage in high-speed train.A parametric vibration model of the gear transmission system is developed when the time-varying stiffness and the transmission error are considered. The nonlinear characteristic of selfexcited torsional vibration caused by wheel-rail creepage is analyzed.Numerical simulation results show that the time-varying mesh stiffness of meshing teeth pairs is the main cause of harmonic vibration of gear transmission system, when the wheel-rail creepage is over the best value, the self-excited vibration occurred and gear transmission system have the phenomenon of limited cycle in the same time, the self-excited vibration has no effect on the change of main frequency of the gear transmission system, but the harmonic response become more obvious, cause a strong vibration on the gear transmission system.…”
