Research on Relationship Between Runoff of Upper Reaches of the Yellow River and Sea Surface Temperature and Atmospheric Circulation Characteristics by WANG Dan, PAN Hongzhong, BAI Yu

    Published 2021-01-01
“…Precipitation in any watershed is a part of the global atmosphere and water cycle. Most of the water in the atmosphere comes from seawater evaporation. The amount of water vapor is directly related to the sea surface temperature (SST),which is the main driving factor of water cycle. It is a very complicated process that seawater evaporates into the atmosphere, and the water in the atmosphere falls on a certain watershed and forms runoff. In order to increase the forecast period of runoff, the teleconnection relationship between SST and runoff has attracted more and more attention.By using the natural orthogonal function decomposition method and correlation analysis, this paper establishes the correlation between the runoff in the upper reaches of the Yellow River and the corresponding sea surface temperature, and then verifies and analyzes the formation mechanism from the perspective of atmospheric circulation. The results show that the change of sea surface temperature is closely related to the runoff of upper reaches of Yellow River in flood season.…”

Le paysage au service de la biodiversité dans la ville durable by Alban Bourcier

    Published 2012-09-01
“…In this article we will suggest a number of actions that will be helpful in a program of sustainable territorial development and which are specifically aimed at improving the human environment while rehabilitating the natural world and emphasizing that it is of primary importance. One of our objectives will be to demonstrate the need for a multi-scale approach to planning procedures and to encourage the integration of questions of biodiversity and landscape into projects by taking an overall, large-scale view of the problems rather than a merely local one.Taking into account all the stages from planning to operational implementation, we will attempt to list the systems and options available to improve and influence biodiversity in larger territorial planning projects. Our main objective is to show the principle questions that may be addressed by improving the diversity of flora and fauna in urban areas.…”
