Study on Optimal Utilization of Water Resources in Shiqiao Hydropower Station by ZHAO Yufeng

“…For the scientific,reasonable and efficient use of water resources,this paper establishes a multi-objective optimization and development model of Shiqiao Hydropower Station with the power generation and firm output as the goal,and the river ecological flow as the main constraint,builds a solution model by the mathematical simulation technology,and obtains the optimal operation and scheduling scheme of the hydropower station under inflow conditions in typical years for realizing the unity of economic goals and ecological goals of the hydropower station.With consideration of multiple factors such as ecology,topography and water resources,the No.15 scheme with annual power generation of 20.232 million kW·h and firm output of 1 336 kW is selected as the optimal operation and scheduling scheme of Shiqiao Hydropower Station under inflow conditions in typical years,in which the water resources of Shiqiao Hydropower Station can be fully utilized.…”

“…To improve the communication efficiency in FL (federated learning), for the scenario with heterogeneous edge user's computing capacity and channel state, a class of time division multiple access (TDMA) based user scheduling policies were proposed for FL.The proposed policies aim to minimize the system delay in each round of model training subject to a given sample size constraint required for computing in each round.In addition, the convergence rate of the proposed scheduling algorithms was analyzed from a theoretical perspective to study the tradeoff between the convergence performance and the total system delay.The selection of the optimal batch size was further analyzed.Simulation results show that the convergence rate of the proposed algorithm is at least 30% higher than all the considered benchmarks.…”

“…Overlay networks had been recently developed to support multicast framework.Specially,overlay architec-tures based on proxies and leased lines could provide applications with optimal performance in terms of bandwidth,reliability,delay guarantee,etc.A balanced multicast routing algorithm for these proxy-based overlay architectures was proposed to utilize the network resources efficiently while keeping the delay guarantee for each multicast session.First,the routing problem was modeled as a delay-constraint Steiner tree problem.Then,a balanced solution with the aid of precomputing was proposed.The precomputing performed once with high complexity.However,its outcome was used multiple times in the later low complexity tree forming algorithm.Hence,the overall complexity was low-ered.Extensive simulations show that the multicast routing algorithm provides superior performance with respect to other heuristics.…”
