Genome-wide association study and genomic prediction of root system architecture traits in Sorghum (Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench) at the seedling stage
Published 2025-01-01“…The genomic prediction accuracy estimated for the studied traits using five Bayesian models ranged from 0.30 to 0.63 while it ranged from 0.35 to 0.60 when the RR-BLUP model was used. The observed moderate to high prediction accuracy for each trait suggests that genomic selection could be a feasible approach to sorghum RSA-targeted selection and breeding. …”

Influence of Secondary Inorganic Aerosol on the Concentrations of PM2.5 and PM0.1 during Air Pollution Episodes in Hanoi, Vietnam
Published 2024-02-01“…Relative humidity, pressure, temperature, and radiation had a good correlation with SIA of PM0.1 and a moderate correlation with PM0.1. Concentration-weighted trajectory analysis demonstrated that PM2.5 and SIA levels were also influenced by long-range transportation from the upper areas. …”

Assessment of occupational hazards in midwifery setting and impact of occupational stress and job satisfaction on midwives’ quality of work-life: multicenter study in IRAN
Published 2025-02-01“…The preliminary results showed that the mean scores for job stress, job satisfaction, and quality of work life were 232.35 (high), 41.09 (moderate), and 95.34, respectively. In the regression model, job satisfaction, age, and work experience were significantly associated with quality of work life, with job satisfaction having the strongest influence (β = 0.376, P < 0.0013). …”

Patient perspectives on stress after ICU and a short primary care based psychological intervention – results from a qualitative sub‑study of the PICTURE trial
Published 2025-01-01“…In view of chronification and the lack of specific follow-up treatment options for these patients and the long waiting times for psychotherapy, the implementation of low-threshold treatment options by GPs appears to be ideally suited to closing this gap in care, particularly for patients with mild to moderate symptoms of a post-traumatic stress disorder. …”

Sources analysis and risk assessment of heavy metals in soil in a polymetallic mining area in southeastern Hubei based on Monte Carlo simulation
Published 2025-01-01“…The main findings are as follows: (1) Among the heavy metals present in the soil, copper (Cu) has the highest average concentration at 278.54 mg/kg, followed by zinc (Zn) at 161.16 mg/kg, chromium (Cr) at 75.23 mg/kg, nickel (Ni) at 30.38 mg/kg, arsenic (As) at 22.53 mg/kg, cadmium (Cd) at 0.76 mg/kg, and mercury (Hg) at 0.14 mg/kg; (2) The distribution of heavy metal concentrations exhibits significant regional variations, with the spatial pattern of pollution indicating that TLS is more affected than JLS, as evidenced by the Pollution Load Index (PLI) values; (3) Three potential sources of heavy metals were identified: natural sources, anthropogenic activities (including industrial production and agricultural practices), and atmospheric deposition (both dry and wet); (4) While severe contamination levels of specific metals such as copper and cadmium are observed in JLS and TLS soils, the overall contamination is mild, suggesting complex contamination dynamics; (5) Cadmium poses a moderate to high ecological risk, being the most sensitive factor in the comprehensive ecological risk assessment with a contribution rate of 65.2 %; (6) The concentrations of heavy metals in the soil present certain health risks, with children being more vulnerable than adults. …”
