Dynamical control of topological unidirectional guided resonances via external magnetic field
Published 2025-01-01“…Here, we theoretically propose and numerically demonstrate a scheme to break the reciprocity, and to generate and manipulate the unidirectional guided resonances (UGRs) in a one-dimensional magneto-optical (MO) grating, which radiate solely toward one side with no emission in the opposite direction. Under an external magnetic field, it is found that genuine UGRs (or quasi-UGRs) in topological nature, depicted by a phase winding number of far-field radiation, can be created by hybridizing the different orthogonal bands in such a nonreciprocal grating. …”

Discrete moments models for Vlasov equations with non constant strong magnetic limit
Published 2023-11-01“…We describe the structure of an original application of the method of moments to the Vlasov–Poisson system with non constant strong magnetic field in three dimensions of space. Using basis functions which are aligned with the magnetic field, one obtains a Friedrichs system where the kernel of the singular part is made explicit. …”

Controlling Dielectric and Magnetic Properties of PVdF/Magnetite Nanocomposite Fibre Webs
Published 2014-01-01“…The ability of filtration and separation media containing fibres to remove impurities from oil, water, and blood can be enhanced using magnetic fields. The ability to regulate the dielectric and magnetic behaviour of fibrous webs in terms of superparamagnetic or ferromagnetic properties by adjusting material composition is fundamental to meeting end-use requirements. …”
