Network traffic classification using decision tree based on minimum partition distance
Published 2012-03-01“…Before data communications,every application protocol to handshake at application layer and transmit some parameters.This process is quite different according to the protocols,such as the packet direction,payload size and the information entropy of each packet payload.So according to these features,decision tree algorithm based on minimum partition distance was used to train the classifier.The results of the offline experiments on real network traces and the online classification experiments in campus network indicate that,analyzing the first four or six packets of each flow is enough to classify eight common used application protocols with high overall accuracy and low cost.Contrast to other machine learning algorithms,decision tree can achieve better ent traces and low classification time.So it is very suitable for real-time traffic classification.…”

Provable secure ownership transfer protocol for RFID tag
Published 2015-08-01“…With the ownership transfer of an object,the ownership of the RFID tag attached to it also needs to be transferred.Security and privacy are the key issues while researchers studying the process of RFID tag ownership transfer.In the UC(universally composable)framework,an ideal functionality of RFID tag ownership transfer is formally defined.Then,a novel lightweight ownership transfer protocol for RFID tag is proposed.Subsequently,it is proved that proposed protocol realizes the previously defined ideal functionality and satisfies the required security properties such as mutual authentication,tag anonymity,resistance to de-synchronization attacks,forward privacy protection and backward privacy protection.Compared with the existing ownership transfer protocols for RFID tags,the computational complexity and the storage requirements of proposed protocol are all lower.Meanwhile,the number of interaction among the entities is small.Therefore,the proposed protocol can efficiently implement ownership transfer for low-cost tags.…”

Published 2023-07-01“…In order to solve the problems of insufficient indoor 5G signal coverage and difficulty in optimization of high-rise buildings, the 5G beamforming weight optimization method based on particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm was proposed.Decoupling and reducing the network dimension into multiple subnet slices by collecting the data reported by the terminal, and the single cell weight database was planned and simulated to create the multi-cells weights group and fitness function.Finally, the PSO algorithm was adopted to obtain the local optimal weight group of the multi-cells.The test results show that the reference signal receiving power (RSRP) is improved by 8.7%, the signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINR) is improved by 17.5%, the downlink throughput is promoted by 27.3% together.The proposed method has the advantages of low cost, high efficiency and intelligence, and can significantly improve the user perception in high-rise buildings.…”
