Testing loop quantum gravity by quasi-periodic oscillations: rotating blackholes by Jafar Khodagholizadeh, Ghadir Jafari, Alireza Allahyari, Ali Vahedi

    Published 2024-12-01
“…Abstract We investigate a compelling model of a rotating black hole that is deformed by the effects of loop quantum gravity (LQG). We present a simplified metric and explore two distinct geometries: one in which the masses of the black hole and white hole are equal, and another in which they differ. …”

An Area Rescaling Ansatz and Black Hole Entropy from Loop Quantum Gravity by Abhishek Majhi

    Published 2019-01-01
“…Considering the possibility of ‘renormalization’ of the gravitational constant on the horizon, leading to a dependence on the level of the associated Chern-Simons theory, a rescaled area spectrum is proposed for the nonrotating black hole horizon in loop quantum gravity. The statistical mechanical calculation leading to the entropy provides a unique choice of the rescaling function for which the Bekenstein-Hawking area law is yielded without the need to choose the Barbero-Immirzi parameter (γ). γ is determined, rather than being chosen, by studying the limit in which the ‘renormalized’ gravitational constant on the horizon asymptotically approaches the ‘bare’ value. …”

Black Hole Entropy from Indistinguishable Quantum Geometric Excitations by Abhishek Majhi

    Published 2016-01-01
“…In loop quantum gravity the quantum geometry of a black hole horizon consists of discrete nonperturbative quantum geometric excitations (or punctures) labeled by spins, which are responsible for the quantum area of the horizon. …”

Thermodynamic of the f(Q) universe by Haomin Rao, Chunhui Liu, Chao-Qiang Geng

    Published 2024-12-01
“…We show that the lowest-order correction of entropy has the same form as that in loop quantum gravity, and the critical exponents of the phase transition caused by the lowest-order correction are consistent with those in mean field theory. …”
