The impact of routines on emotional and behavioural difficulties in children and on parental anxiety during COVID-19
Published 2023-12-01“…Keyworker status was defined as those whose work was essential to Covid-19 response, including work in health and social care and other key sectors.MethodsWe used data from the Avon Longitudinal Study of Parents and Children (ALSPAC) to explore associations between maintaining a routine, and emotional and behavioural difficulties in children, using linear regression models. All eligible ALSPAC-G2 participants were sent the survey and the responders are representative of the eligible G2 population. …”

Demographic and clinical impact on preoperative BREAST-Q ePROM completion and baseline outcomes in women undergoing breast cancer surgery: a quantitative descriptive study at a Dan...
Published 2025-01-01“…The BREAST-Q is a PROM in questionnaire format, developed and validated to assess satisfaction and quality of life for breast surgery patients. The hypothesis tested is that considering disparities in geography, age and education among responders is essential for capturing a diverse patient population in future Patent-Reported Outcome Measures initiatives, examining how these characteristics are associated with Patent-Reported Outcome Measures utilisation and outcomes.Design Quantitative descriptive study.Setting Electronic Patient-Reported Outcome Measures were collected between 6 September 2021 and 5 September 2022 from patients recruited from an outpatient clinic at a Plastic- and Breast Surgery Department at a University Hospital in Denmark.Participants Participants include a total of 629 Danish-speaking women diagnosed with breast cancer and scheduled for breast cancer surgery, with a final participation rate of 468.Intervention Preoperative ePROMs and demographic data were collected between September 2020 and 2021 through patients’ secure national digital post-box.Main outcome measures Demographic variables of both responders and non-responders were assessed using t-tests, Mann-Whitney U tests and χ2 tests. Linear regression models were employed to determine the demographic variables associated with BREAST-Q subscale scores. Results The response rate for ePROMs was 72.5% with a median age of responders at 62 years. …”

Associations of dietary choline intake and kidney function with hyperuricemia in Chinese children and adolescents: a cross-sectional studyResearch in context
Published 2025-01-01“…The associations between choline intake and HUA were analysed using weighted logistic regression models, restricted cubic spline models, and linear regression models. The mediated proportions of estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) in the associations were estimated with mediation effect models. …”

Characterisation of pregnancy-induced alterations in apolipoproteins and their associations with maternal metabolic risk factors and offspring birth outcomes: a preconception and l...
Published 2025-02-01“…Methods: Quantification of apolipoproteins was performed on maternal plasma samples (N = 243 trios) collected at preconception, 26–28 weeks’ pregnancy, and three months postpartum in the Singapore PREconception Study of long-Term maternal and child Outcomes (S-PRESTO) cohort study. Linear regression models and network analysis were implemented to investigate the association of apolipoproteins with maternal genetic variants, biochemical measures, metabolic risk factors, and offspring birth outcomes. …”
