Confidence of comments evaluated for Web service based on difference-induced by Qingbo GONG, Jun NIU, Xiuting SUN, Kui WANG

    Published 2016-08-01
“…Historical comments of requestors provide important references for Web service selections. However, the information is subjective. An approach to evaluate the confidence of the comments through differential induction based on data of objective QoS(quality of service)and subjective score of comments was proposed.Firstly, the similarity relation between requestors was judged, according to different values of QoS produced by the same service invoked by more than one requestor. Then, the evaluation algorithm of confidence was built based on previous similarity relation and the subjective score of the corresponding requestor. Finally, the balanced factor of confidence formed by the algorithm assessed whether the comments from requestors are reliable.Algorithm analysis and experimental results show that the method is feasible and effective.…”

A novel fast tag number estimation algorithm by Yinghua CUI

    Published 2017-10-01
“…Tag number estimation is one of the key technologies in radio frequency identification (RFID) system. The conventional estimation algorithms usually interrogate all time slots before estimating the tag quantity, which lead to large payload and time consumption.A rapid estimation algorithm was proposed.By judging the collision of the first 4 slots in each frame, the Q parameter values could be adjusted quickly, and then the number of tag estimates could be obtained by querying a small number of slots.Simulation results show that compared with the traditional tag estimation algorithm, the proposed algorithm has the advantages of fast estimation speed and small estimation error, and is very suitable for fast estimation.…”

Spectrum sensing algorithm based on symmetry of cyclic spectral correlation by Yu-long GAO, Yan-ping CHEN, Xiu-zhi GUAN, Zhong-zhao ZHANG, Xue-jun SHA

    Published 2011-11-01
“…In response to the shortcoming of conventional algorithms, modified SSCA was exploited to calculate the cyclic spectral correlation of received signal for decreasing the computational complexity.Symmetry of cyclic spectral correlation (CSC) was used to detect the idle spectrum, criteria and method of selecting and judging symmetry were proposed.Conventional binary hypothesis condition was translated to concrete value according to symmetry. In order to eliminate the effect of interference and noise,non-zero cyclic frequencies were selected. Finally, the performance of the presented algorithm was compared with the conventional algorithms by virtue of simulation.Simulation results proved the correctness and the superiority of new algorithms.Using symmetry improves the successful detection probability for low SNR and reduces the computational complexity.…”

Novel virtual topology configuration algorithm for IP over WDM network by LE Zi-chun, FU Ming-lei

    Published 2007-01-01
“…The load balancing for the whole network was chosen as the optimal objective and a novel virtual topology configuration algorithm was proposed. In the proposed algorithm, the load distribution variance was chosen as a key criterion for judging the load balancing. And the definition and the computing method of the load distribution variance were introduced. In addition, the blocking probability was chosen as the main performance parameter for comparing with other algorithms. In the optical layer, the algorithm proposed was compared with the routing with load balancing heuristics(RLBH) algorithm.Similarly,in IP layer, the algorithm was compared with the fixed-path least-congestion(FPLC) algorithm. Moreover, the numerical results of the algorithm comparison were shown and discussed. The simulation results show that the performance of the algorithm is better than RLBH algorithm and FPLC algorithm on the blocking probability.…”
