Analysis and Establishment of the Isothermal Elastohydrodynamic Lubrication Model of the Cylindrical Gear with Arcuate Tooth Trace
Published 2015-01-01“…The cylindrical gear with arcuate tooth trace has advantages of high bearing capacity, high contact strength and steady transmission, etc. But there are also failure modes such as the wear of tooth surface, pitting and scuffing when it drives,it is mainly because of the bad lubricating condition. So ensuring that it is always in good lubricity would be critical. After analyzing the meshing contact process of cylindrical gears with arcuate tooth trace, the contact model of gears is simplified.Based on the elastohydrodynamic lubrication theory, the physical and mathematical model of isothermal elastohydrodynamic lubrication for the cylindrical gear with arcuate tooth trace are established.Through the direct iterative method and Fortran procedure, the numerical solution of the model is solved and the characteristic curves of oil film are got.The influences that entrainment velocity, load and viscidity bring to lubrication characters of the cylindrical gear with arcuate tooth trace are analyzed and compared. The results show the entrainment velocity is the most important cause for the oil film thickness, the viscidity has important influences both on the oil film pressure and thickness, and the load influences less relative to other two factors.Besides, using the oil film thickness ratio, the lubrication state of gears could be estimated, which helps keeping gears approach the elastohydrodynamic lubrication state when designing.…”

Adaptive bandwidth allocation algorithm based on the multi-threshold reservation mechanism
Published 2014-12-01“…An adaptive bandwidth allocation algorithm based on multi-threshold reservation mechanism is proposed to guarantee the quality of service (QoS) of multi-services in heterogeneous wireless networks. With the bandwidth reserva-tion mechanism by setting multi-threshold in each network for every traffic, the adaptive bandwidth allocation scheme according to the transmission rate levels requirements for traffic k and the network status can be formulated as an optimal problem with the constraints of the bandwidth allocation matrix for each traffic and all users based on the multi-homing technology.A procedure of the iterative method is presented to solve the optimal problem of the formulated adaptive bandwidth allocation scheme. The optimized bandwidth allocation matrixes for traffics and for all users are obtained for the real-time network throughput maximization under bandwidth reserving thresholds and network capacity constrains and the bandwidth resource utilization efficiency of heterogeneous wireless network can be increased.Numerical simula-tion results show that the proposed algorithm can support QoS requiring transmission rate grades, decrease the new call blocking probability, increase the average user access rate and improve the network throughput of the heterogeneous wireless network by 40% to the largest extent.…”

Cooperative spectrum sensing scheme based on crowd trust and decision-making mechanism
Published 2014-03-01“…A distributed consensus-based scheme by simulating the crowd trust and decision-making mechanism was proposed. This scheme firstly predicts the dynamic trust value among sensing users by the previous cooperative process, and then generates the user's relative trust value, and makes the data interaction among the users by using the combination of relative trust value and decision-making mechanism. All users' state can reach a consensus as the credible and iterative data interaction. All users get the final results by the determinant algorithm. This new spectrum sensing scheme utilizes the imbalance of each users' sensing ability in the real environment. Each secondary user can maintain cooperation with others only through the local information exchange with the neighbors. It is quite different from traditional spectrum sensing scheme, such as OR-rule,1-out-of-N rule and ordinary iterative method.Three SSDF attacks were analysed,on the basis of the corresponding anti-attack policy was proposed.Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the new scheme is better than the existing cooperative spectrum sensing algorithm in accuracy and security.New scheme not only can improve the accuracy of spectrum sensing but also has the strong anti-attack capability.…”
