Knowledge, attitudes, and practices of pregnant women regarding epidural analgesia: a multicentre study from a developing country

Multivariate logistic regression showed that women who were younger than 32 years, who have used epidural analgesia, and those who stated that epidural analgesia should be available during vaginal birth were 2.78-fold (95% CI: 1.54–5.04), 4.96-fold (95% CI: 2.71–9.10), and 13.57-fold (95% CI: 6.54–28.16) more likely to express willingness to use epidural analgesia, respectively.Conclusions Pregnant women had high awareness of the existence, moderate knowledge, and positive attitudes towards epidural analgesia for normal vaginal birth. …”
