Complex multivariate model predictions for coral diversity with climatic change
Published 2024-12-01“…We examined the predictions for numbers of coral taxa using all variables and compared them to models based on variables commonly used to predict climate change and human influences (eight and nine variables). Results indicated individual temperature variables alone had lower predictive ability (R2 < 2%–7%) compared to human influence variables (6%–18%) but overall climate had a higher training–testing fit (70%) than the human influence (63%) model. …”

A Novel Mobility Concept for Terrestrial Wheel-Legged Lunar Rover
Published 2025-01-01“…This mobility concept offers the advantage of a self-locking function, which secures the leg positions even in the event of component failure - an improvement over systems with individual motors for each leg. A prototype space rover, the Khalifa University Space Rover (KUSR), was built based on the proposed system and tested in both simulations and real-world experiments. …”

Search for electroweak production of a vector-like T quark using fully hadronic final states
Published 2020-01-01“…The search is performed using two experimentally distinct signatures that depend on whether or not each quark from the decays of the top quark, Higgs boson, or Z boson produces an individual resolved jet. Jet substructure, b tagging, and kinematic variables are used to identify the top quark and boson jets, and also to suppress the standard model backgrounds. …”

Oral nutritional supplements for gastric cancer – the review of current evidence
Published 2021-03-01“…When choosing a specific product, preference should be given to formulas with optimal nitrogen: non‑protein kilocalories ratio, osmolarity closest to physiological and individually selected organoleptic properties. It is recommended that the patient consume at least 200–250 ml of the mixture per day, and in the early postoperative period focus have to be made not on the target volume, but on signs of tolerability.…”
