Field-Obtained Soil-Water Characteristic Curves of KPK Expansive Soil and Their Prediction Correlations
Published 2020-01-01“…The measured suction showed a strong correlation with the free swell index (FSI) and moisture content. It was found that the upper layers of expansive soil have high suction than lower layers due to more exposure to the environmental agencies and low density.…”

Is economic inequality in maternal and child healthcare decreasing in India? Trends between 2005–2006, 2015–2016 and 2019–2021
Published 2025-01-01“…Bivariate analyses, ratio of richest to poorest, slope index of inequality (SII) and multivariate binary logistic regression analyses were used to examine the coverage as well as inequalities in the outcome indicators for India and its states and at district level.Primary outcomes The outcome variables analysed in the study were full antenatal care, institutional delivery, postnatal care of mothers within 48 hours of delivery, and full immunisation among children.Participants Women aged 15–49 who had given a birth in the last 5 years before the surveys were unit of analysis for the maternal healthcare indicators, and children aged 12–23 months were unit of the analysis for childhood immunisation. Results Over the last 15 years, coverage of the MCH indicators has increased in India and across socioeconomic segment of the population, and the absolute increase was higher among the worse-off segments than the better-off. …”

Predictive value of epicardial fat thickness for left ventricular reverse remodeling after radiofrequency ablation in atrial fibrillation patients with left ventricular hypertrophy
Published 2025-01-01“…[Results] A total of 28 patients who did not achieve reverse remodeling were included in the control group, and 22 patients who achieved reverse remodeling were included in the reverse remodeling group. There were significant differences in age, atrial fibrillation classification, duration of atrial fibrillation, left atrial diameter (LAD), left ventricular end-diastolic diameter, left ventricular end-diastolic diameter index (LVEDI), neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (NLR), high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hsCRP), platelet distribution width(PDW), red cell distribution width, fibrinogen to albumin ratio (FAR) and EFT between the two groups (P<0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that EFT, LAD, LVEDI, NLR, hsCRP, PDW and FAR were independent factors for left ventricular reverse remodeling(P<0.05).The cut-off value of EFT for predicting postoperative left ventricular reverse remodeling was 0.848, sensitivity was 95.5%, specificity was 89.3%, and AUC was 0.937 (95% CI: 0.868-0.983). …”
