Common Fixed Points of (α,η) − (θ,ϝ) Rational Contractions with Applications
Published 2019-01-01“…We present the notion of set valued (α,η)-(θ,ϝ) rational contraction mappings and then some common fixed point results of such mappings in the setting of metric spaces are established. …”

The Stochastic Θ-Method for Nonlinear Stochastic Volterra Integro-Differential Equations
Published 2014-01-01“…The mean-square convergence and asymptotic stability of the method are studied. First, we prove that the stochastic Θ-method is convergent of order 1/2 in mean-square sense for such equations. …”

Dynamics of competitive systems with a single common limiting factor
Published 2014-11-01“…The concept of limiting factors (or regulating factors) succeeded in formulating the well-known principle of competitive exclusion. This paper shows that the concept of limiting factors is helpful not only to formulate the competitive exclusion principle, but also to obtain other ecological insights. To this end, by focusing on a specific community structure, we study the dynamics of Kolmogorov equations and show that it is possible to derive an ecologically insightful result only from the information about interactions between species and limiting factors.Furthermore, we find that the derived result is a generalization of the preceding work by Shigesada, Kawasaki, and Teramoto (1984), who examined a certain Lotka-Volterra equation in a different context.…”

On multiple-particle continuous-time random walks
Published 2004-01-01“…Scaling limits of continuous-time random walks are used in physics to model anomalous diffusion in which particles spread at a different rate than the classical Brownian motion. In this paper, we characterize the scaling limit of the average of multiple particles, independently moving as a continuous-time random walk. …”

Coexistence of giant cell arteritis and subacute thyroiditis: A case report and literature review
Published 2025-02-01“…Giant cell arteritis and subacute thyroiditis are often regarded as clinically distinct diseases with differing pathogenesis. We report a rare case of coexisting giant cell arteritis and subacute thyroiditis that were both successfully managed using glucocorticoid therapy. …”
