Maternal and neonatal outcomes of Group B Streptococcus colonization: a retrospective study
Published 2025-01-01“…Fetal distress (OR, 1.940; 95% CI, 1.355 to 2.778, P < 0.001), neonatal sepsis (OR, 5.063; 95% CI, 2.536–10.109, P < 0.001), low Apgar scores (OR, 2.097; 95% CI, 1.184–3.715, P = 0.011), neonatal pneumonia (OR, 1.638; 95% CI, 1.039 to 2.582, P = 0.034) and neonatal hyperbilirubinemia (OR, 1.438; 95% CI, 1.080 to 1.915, P = 0.013) were significantly related to maternal GBS colonization. When we used the composite adverse neonatal outcomes as the dependent variable and analyzed the influencing factors, the logistic regression analysis revealed that GBS colonization was still significantly related to an elevated risk of adverse neonatal outcomes (OR = 1.752, 95% CI, 1.389–2.208; P < 0.001). …”

Effect of Treatment Delay, Stroke Type, and Thrombolysis on the Effect of Glyceryl Trinitrate, a Nitric Oxide Donor, on Outcome after Acute Stroke: A Systematic Review and Meta-Ana...
Published 2016-01-01“…Nitric oxide (NO) donors are a candidate treatment for acute stroke and two trials have suggested that they might improve outcome if administered within 4–6 hours of stroke onset. We assessed the safety and efficacy of NO donors using individual patient data (IPD) from completed trials. …”

Global Distribution and Projected Variations of Compound Drought‐Extreme Precipitation Events
Published 2024-07-01“…Yet few studies have analyzed the likelihood of CDEP at different time intervals and their potential variations under global warming. In this study, we assessed the coincidence rate between droughts and extreme precipitation events at 1‐month (CDEP‐1), 2‐month (CDEP‐2), and 3‐month (CDEP‐3) intervals, as well as their potential changes in a 1.5 and 2°C warming world (under both SSP2‐4.5 and SSP5‐8.5 scenarios). …”

L’agriculture itinérante sur brûlis, une menace sur la forêt tropicale humide ?
Published 2012-11-01“…The perception of the agriculture on slash-and-burn field by the majority of agronomists and ecologists is so uniformly negative: archaic, destructive for the forest, unproductive, dangerous even for the future of the planet.Another logical reference, the durability of the practices, must be investigated: in agriculture, the durability must be economically viable, socially acceptable and ecologically solid (Conway 1987) that we can translate by the capacity of an agroecosystem to maintain a stable long-term production based on an ecological, social and economic solidity/validity. …”

Acidity, sugar, and alcohol contents during the fermentation of Osmanthus-flavored sweet rice wine and microbial community dynamics
Published 2025-01-01“…In this study, the dynamic changes in sugar level, acidity, alcohol content, microbial community composition, and microbial metabolic pathways during traditional fermentation of OFSRW at four-time points—0 h (AG0), 24 h (AG24), 36 h (AG36), and 43 h (AG43)—were analyzed via direct titration, total acid assays, alcoholometry, and high-throughput macrogenomic techniques. First, we found that bacteria were the dominant microorganisms in the early stage of OFSRW fermentation (AG0), fungi were the dominant microorganisms in the middle and late stages of fermentation (AG24 and AG36), and Rhizopus was the main fungal genus throughout fermentation. …”
