Biological Characteristics of Fluorescent Superparamagnetic Iron Oxide Labeled Human Dental Pulp Stem Cells
Published 2017-01-01“…Tracking transplanted stem cells is necessary to clarify cellular properties and improve transplantation success. In this study, we investigate the effects of fluorescent superparamagnetic iron oxide particles (SPIO) (Molday ION Rhodamine-B™, MIRB) on biological properties of human dental pulp stem cells (hDPSCs) and monitor hDPSCs in vitro and in vivo using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). …”

Host Factors in the Natural History of Chronic Hepatitis B: Role of Genetic Determinants
Published 2022-01-01“…CHB progression can be categorized into four phases, immune tolerance (IT), immune clearance (IC), low/no replicative (LR), and e-negative hepatitis (ENH), with HBeAg seroconversion as an important milestone. Here, we determined the association of TNF-α (rs1800629) and IL-10 (rs1800896 and rs1800872) SNPs in the context of CHB natural history progression, particularly to HBeAg seroconversion, in Indonesian CHB patients. …”

Molecular Mechanisms Underlying Neuroinflammation Intervention with Medicinal Plants: A Critical and Narrative Review of the Current Literature
Published 2025-01-01“…While the anti-inflammatory potential of these plants is significant, the variability in dosages and phytochemical compositions limits clinical translation. Here, we highlight that medicinal plants are effective modulators of neuroinflammation, underscoring their therapeutic potential. …”

The clean analysis process of Mn2+ for industries: a comparative study on direct determination of high-concentration Mn2+ in solution using spectrophotometry
Published 2025-01-01“…Traditional detection method like potassium periodate spectrophotometry (PPS) method is limited to low concentrations and involve complex processes that contribute to secondary pollution. In this study, we evaluated the performance of four alternative methods—External Standard Calibration (EC), Area Under the Curve (AUC), Standard Addition (SA), and Multi-Energy Calibration (MEC)—for determining high-concentration Mn²⁺. …”

Differential attainment at national selection for higher surgical training: a retrospective cohort study
Published 2025-01-01“…Females were more likely to be successful at general surgery selection (OR 2.69 (95% CI 1.63 to 4.45)), older candidates (graduates) were less likely to be successful at ENT selection (OR 0.21 (95% CI 0.05 to 0.95)), and candidates that were the first in their family to attend University were less likely to be successful at urology selection (OR 0.41 (95% CI 0.21 to 0.78)).Conclusions Our findings highlight few statistically significant associations and no consistent patterns between sociodemographic factors and performance at HST selection once we adjusted for prior academic attainment. This suggests that differences in performance on selection into HST may be more likely due to individual rather than group-level differences.…”
