Conformance Control for Tight Oil Cyclic Gas Injection Using Foam
Published 2022-01-01“…We focus on improving two categories of conformance control problems using foam, making the injection profile for single well more evenly distributed and mitigating the gas breakthrough to adjacent wells through the connected hydraulic fractures in a multiwell setting. The simulation results show that foam has shown major impact in improving the gas conformance control in both cases. …”

Dimensionless Numerical Approaches for the Performance Prediction of Marine Waterjet Propulsion Units
Published 2012-01-01“…The first procedure is based on a generalized performance map for mixed flow pumps, derived from the analysis of several waterjet pumps by applying similitude principles of the hydraulic machines. The second approach, validated by some comparisons with current waterjet installations, is based on a complete physical approach, from which a set of non-dimensional waterjet characteristics has been drawn by the authors. …”

Study on Ecological Security Assessment of Dongjiang River Basin in Jiangxi Province Based on PSFR Model
Published 2021-01-01“…In order to find out the ecological security situation of Dongjiang River Basin in Jiangxi Province, and formulate targeted ecological protection measures for protecting the clear water of the Dongjiang River, this paper determines the weight of indexes through the “Pressure-State-Function-Risk”(PSFR) model and analytic hierarchy process (AHP),establishes and optimizes the ecological security assessment system of Dongjiang River Basin in Jiangxi Province, and combines with “3S” technology and expert support system to evaluate the ecological security of Dongjiang River Basin in Jiangxi Province. The results show that:The ecological security index (ESI) of Dongjiang River Basin is 74.80,and the ecological security state of the Dongjiang River Basin is relatively safe. The main environmental problems in the river basin are the disconnection of the river system, the failure of the water environment quality to reach the standard, the reduction of the aquatic biological resources and diversity, etc. The severe human activities, the high density of hydraulic structures, the potential pollution of mining and orchard development, the degradation of important habitat area, the degradation of wetland area and the weakening of watershed ecological service function are the causes. On the basis of the assessment, the main factors affecting the ecological security of the river basin are put forward in this paper, which provides technical basis for the formulation of the next protection plan, and the index system has a strong reference significance to the fine management of ecological risk control in other basins.…”
