Design and Realization of Jiujiang Urban Smart Water Platform Based on Digital Twin Technology
Published 2022-01-01“…Nowadays,the digital technology based on digital twin is becoming increasingly mature.To make the water environment treatment of the Yangtze River stable and efficient for a long time,Shanghai Investigation,Design & Research Institute (SIDRI) adopted the advanced concept of smart water in the water environment treatment of the central urban area in Jiujiang,the first pilot city of the Yangtze River Protection,and developed a smart water platform with the digital twin as a core technology.With the digital twin technology,SIDRI built the data base of the city and applied the smart water platform combined with 5G Internet of things,hydraulic modeling and cloud computing technology.Integrating the data of river water regime,water quality,regional rain regime,pump station operation,real-time monitoring of pipe network and other water management content,SIDRI created a spatial-temporal model of the water environment in Jiujiang central urban area with the platform,which improves the efficiency of comprehensive treatment and integrated operation of “plant-network-river-lake-(bank).” …”

Study on Modification Effects of Fish Passage Facilities in Angu Hydropower Station in Dadu River
Published 2024-01-01“…Due to the changed operating water level after the building of Angu Hydropower Station in Dadu River,the gate floors of the vertical slot fishway and nature-like passage are chiseled to lower the elevation and ensure water flow conditions.In order to understand the hydraulic condition of the modified fishway and the effect of fish passing,the water level and flow velocity in the fish passage facility are measured.The features of fishes in ecological river channels and fish passage facilities are investigated through net capturing.In addition,the operation status of fish passage facilities and the changes in aquatic ecological investigation results before and after modification are analyzed.The following main conclusions are drawn.After modification,the operation guarantee rate of fishway and passage is greatly improved,and the hydrodynamic conditions are close to the design effect; there are more fish species within the survey area after modification,and the species number of some migratory fishes has increased remarkably; there are obvious differences in fish species between vertical slot fishway and nature-like passage of ecological river sluice in Angu Hydropower Station,and the two channels are suitable for different fish species,showing a complementary effect.…”

Analysis on Changes in Water Level-Flow of the Pearl River Basin in Recent Years and Its Causes
Published 2021-01-01“…Aiming at the impact of climate change and rapid urbanization on the hydrological situation in the Pearl River Basin in recent years,this paper analyzes the evolution trend and variation characteristics of the water level,flow and water level-flow of 16 major hydrological stations in the Pearl River Basin from 1997 to 2013,and discusses the causes of the evolution of water level and flow in each sub-basin based on the meteorological,hydraulic engineering,and water and sediment data in the historical period.The results show that:①The average annual flow of most stations in the Pearl River Basin didn't change significantly,but the Jiangbianjie,Chongwei and Liuzhou stations in the Xijiang River Basin showed a significant reduction trend;②The flow of most stations in the flood season decreased,while that in the dry season increased.The different precipitation during the dry/flood season was the important factors leading to the change of flow in the Pearl River Basin;③The water level of most stations in the Xijiang River Basin showed a significant upward trend,which was caused by the aggravating water and soil loss.While under the influence of reservoir operation and sand mining activities,the Beijiang River Basin and the lower reaches of the Dongjiang River Basin showed a trend of riverbed down-cutting and water level lowering.…”
