Study on Deformation Characteristics of Extended Highway in Operation Period
Published 2022-01-01“…The main conclusions are as follows: (1) with the increase of traffic load and subgrade depth, the elastic modulus changes significantly in the early stage and small in the later stage. (2) Under the condition of no treatment measures, the vertical and horizontal deformation of the subgrade surface show a trend of increasing and then decreasing with the distance from the center line of the subgrade. (3) Setting geogrid and geocell can effectively reduce the differential settlement of the old and new subgrades. (4) The effect of setting geogrid to reduce the differential settlement of old and new subgrades is better than that of setting geogrid.…”

Impacts of the Two Biggest Lakes on Local Temperature and Precipitation in the Yellow River Source Region of the Tibetan Plateau
Published 2015-01-01“…Lakes increase precipitation over the lake area and in the nearby region, mostly during 02–14 BT (Beijing Time) of July to October when the warm lake surface induces the low level horizontal convergence and updraft over lake and provides energy and vapor to benefit the development of the convection for precipitation.…”

The Magnetic Origin of the Mystery of Rare Hα Moreton Waves
Published 2025-01-01“…According to the reconstructed magnetic field and atmospheric model, Moreton waves propagate in the direction along which the horizontal fast-mode wave speed drops the fastest. This result supports the inclined magnetic configuration of the eruption being crucial for generating Moreton waves, even for X-class flares. …”

Computer-aided simulation of unmanned aerial vehicle composite structure dynamics
Published 2024-12-01“…Ten layers of 0.1 mm thick carbon fibre were incorporated into the model to create a 1 mm thick composite plate, with fibres oriented at 0°, 30°, 45°, and 90° relative to the horizontal direction of the plate. The simulations demonstrated that careful consideration and modelling of the material significantly impact the values of natural frequencies and, more importantly, the mode shapes. …”

Modeling of low-frequency acoustic NDE to detect delaminations in multilayer polymer-composite structures
Published 2024-10-01“…The dispersion analysis of antisymmetric (A0) and symmetric (S0) Lamb waves and horizontally polarized shear waves (SH0) for such a panel, with given engineering constants, and subsequent finite element (FE) study showed that only A0 waves generated at sound frequencies can be used for delamination diagnostics by registering of out-of-plane velocities at surface points of the tested structure using a simple laser vibrometer. …”
