E-LEARNING CHALLENGES IN POLAND DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
Published 2020-06-01“…This new approach, and the purposeand added value of this study, is to enrich the knowledge of the use of new teaching and researchmethods gained during the Covid-19 pandemic and applicability to pandemics generally, as wellas continued use of these methods afterwards..To achieve the objective, the method of literature analysis and critique was used, as well as aratio analysis based on historical data from Statistics Poland (GUS), EUROSTAT and the author’sown first-hand observations as a university educator. The research results helped to formulate several conclusions regarding the factors whichinfluence effective e-learning, such as: internet access and quality; the availability of adequatesoftware, hardware and other tools; and the digital competence of teachers and students. …”

Uncertainty and enterprise export recovery in China: Does the market integration matter?
Published 2024-01-01“…Based on the empirical test of China's micro-level data, it is found that the rise of market integration generally alleviates the weakening effect of economic policy uncertainty on enterprise export resilience, and this mitigation effect is more obvious for high-efficiency enterprises; The test results of further mechanism analysis and heterogeneity analysis are also consistent with the logic of theoretical analysis.…”

Research on reflection characteristics of the terahertz channel for 6G
Published 2022-05-01“…The reflection characteristics of the terahertz channel are crucial for understanding and mastering the propagation mechanism of the terahertz channel, which are also required for a high-precision terahertz channel model for 6G.Therefore, the research status of terahertz channel reflection characteristics in theoretical modeling and measurement analysis were first summarized. Then, the reflection coefficient measurement campaign in the frequency range of 240 GHz to 310 GHz for five kinds of common building materials was conducted by a time-domain correlation-based terahertz channel measurement platform. It was found that the reflection coefficients were related to the incident angle.Based on the Rayleigh reflection coefficient theoretical model, a statistical reflection coefficient model was further proposed as a function of incident angle.Generally, the proposed model could accurately describe the variation law of the reflection coefficient with angle. Finally, research directions of terahertz channel reflection characteristics were discussed.…”

Compressive Detection Using Sub-Nyquist Radars for Sparse Signals
Published 2016-01-01“…This paper investigates the compression detection problem using sub-Nyquist radars, which is well suited to the scenario of high bandwidths in real-time processing because it would significantly reduce the computational burden and save power consumption and computation time. A compressive generalized likelihood ratio test (GLRT) detector for sparse signals is proposed for sub-Nyquist radars without ever reconstructing the signal involved. …”
