Research on Ecological Runoff of Taohe River Basin Based on Interannual Runoff Variation by LU Jianyu, ZHANG Yude

“…The results shows that: (1)There are significant hydrological variations in annual runoff at the Minxian station and the Lijiacun station, with change points occurring in 1989 and 1991, respectively; (2) The minimum ecological runoff obtained by the monthly minimum method and the optimal ecological runoff obtained by the monthly frequency calculation method can ensure that the river habitat is featured with “good” or above runoff; (3) After the hydrological variation, the guaranteed conditions of the minimum and optimal ecological runoff are worse, especially in the spawning and breeding period of the fish(April to August); (4) There is a significant decrease for the runoff of the current river, and the intensity and impact of human activities will be further increased, so the ecological, economic and social water use should be comprehensively considered based on the condition of Taohe River Basin in the future. Moreover, the research can provide reference for the future development and utilization of the water resources in Taohe River Basin.…”

“…Face forgery and detection has become a research hotspot.Face forgery methods can produce fake face images and videos.Some malicious videos, often targeting celebrities, are widely circulated on social networks, damaging the reputation of victims and causing significant social harm.As a result, it is crucial to develop effective detection methods to identify fake videos.In recent years, deep learning technology has made the task of face forgery and detection more accessible.Deep learning-based face forgery methods can generate highly realistic faces, while deep learning-based fake face detection methods demonstrate higher accuracy compared to traditional approaches.However, it has been shown that deep learning models are vulnerable to adversarial examples, which can lead to a degradation in performance.Consequently, games involving adversarial examples have emerged in the field of face forgery and detection, adding complexity to the original task.Both fakers and detectors now need to consider the adversarial security aspect of their methods.The combination of deep learning methods and adversarial examples is thus the future trend in this research field, particularly with a focus on adversarial attack and defense in face forgery and detection.The concept of face forgery and detection and the current mainstream methods were introduced.Classic adversarial attack and defense methods were reviewed.The application of adversarial attack and defense methods in face forgery and detection was described, and the current research trends were analyzed.Moreover, the challenges of adversarial attack and defense for face forgery and detection were summarized, and future development directions were discussed.…”

Analysis of Evolution of the Wetland Ecosystem of the Liaohe River Nature Reserve over the Past 40 Years and Its Driving Factors by SUN Xiangru, CHEN Jiabo, WANG Yanjie

“…The wetland in the Liaohe River Nature Reserve has played a crucial role in pollutant purification and biodiversity protection for the Liaohe River Basin.This paper reviews the evolution of the wetland ecosystem of the Liaohe River Nature Reserve over the past 40 years and analyzes the major factors driving the process,and puts forward measures for wetland conservation and prospects for future research.The results show that:From 1980 to 2010,the total wetland area showed a decrease trend.Except for the protected area at the estuary of the Liaohe River,the Liaohe River Nature Reserve suffered scarce plant resources and extremely low diversity of plant species,making it unsuitable to serve as a breeding habitat for most birds and fishes.From 2010 to 2020,with the rapid recovery in wetland area,the macro plant structure and diversity improved significantly,resulting in a substantial increase in bird and fish populations.Major natural factors driving the changes of wetland include temperature and precipitation,while human factors such as agricultural development,water project construction,oil and gas exploration,urbanization,and exotic species invasion play a central role in the process.Currently,key measures such as strictly guaranteeing ecological water demand,re-planting aquatic vegetation in land-water cross bedding and open water areas,and conducting integrated control of exotic species invasion through physico-chemical and ecological prevention measures should be taken to promote wetland conservation.The future research should focus on wetland developmental mechanism of the Liaohe River Nature Reserve based on the basin scale.…”
