Review and Prospect of Urban Waterlogging Decision Support System by LU Jiantao, HOU Guibing, LI Yuanyuan, CHEN Junxian, XUE Jiao

    Published 2020-01-01
“…With advantages of reasonable, rapid and accurate aid decision making, the urban waterlogging decision support system can comprehensively improve the ability of flood and waterlogging control. This paper systematically reviews the research progress of urban waterlogging decision support system and its application in large and medium-sized cities, points out the problems of low data accuracy, narrow research scope and slow calculation speed in system development and application, forecasts the development trend of the system, and puts forward several solutions, such as strengthening the multi-source data collection of urban waterlogging, improving the integrated forecasting of waterlogging in river basin and urban, and optimizing the overall calculation speed of the model.…”

State updating of the Xin'anjiang model: joint assimilating streamflow and multi-source soil moisture data via the asynchronous ensemble Kalman filter with enhanced error models by J. Gong, J. Gong, X. Liu, C. Yao, C. Yao, Z. Li, A. H. Weerts, A. H. Weerts, Q. Li, S. Bastola, Y. Huang, J. Xu

    Published 2025-01-01
“…This process updates the state variables of the model, aiming to enhance real-time flood forecasting performance. Tests involving both synthetic and real-world cases demonstrates that assimilation of these two types of observations simultaneously substantially reduces the accumulation of past errors in the initial conditions at the start of the forecast, thereby aiding in elevating the accuracy of flood forecasting. …”

Investigation on Characteristics of Initial Rainwater Pollution in a Baijiu Enterprise by LIU Yanling, LIU Xiaodan, WANG Zhongwei

    Published 2023-01-01
“…The problem of non-point source pollution caused by initial rainwater is attracting more and more attention, but the initial rainwater pollution varies in different industries. To study the characteristics of water quality pollution in the initial rainwater of Baijiu enterprises, this paper analyzes the concentration of chemical oxygen demand (COD) in the initial rainwater of different production workshops. The results show that the variation law of rainfall duration varies in different regions. The COD concentration in the koji-making workshops is higher than that in the Baijiu-making workshops. The koji powder is possibly the main pollutant in the koji-making workshops, and the dissolution of pollutants brought by the koji powder requires a certain process and time. The investigation and study on the characteristics of the initial rainwater pollution in the Baijiu enterprise can provide a basis for Baijiu enterprises to carry out non-point source pollution prevention and control in flood seasons.…”
