AKR1D1*36 C>T (rs1872930) allelic variant is associated with variability of the CYP2C9 genotype predicted pharmacokinetics of ibuprofen enantiomers – a pilot study in healthy volun...
Published 2019-09-01“…The relative contribution of CYP2C9 allelic variants to the pharmacokinetics (PK) of ibuprofen (IBP) enantiomers has been studied extensively, but the potential clinical benefit of pharmacogenetically guided IBP treatment is not evident yet. The role of AKR1D1*36C>T (rs 1872930) allelic variant in interindividual variability of CYP450 mediated drug metabolism was recently elucidated. …”

The relationship between HYDIN and fallopian tubal cilia loss in patients with epithelial ovarian cancer
Published 2025-01-01“…Therefore, our study aimed to investigate the correlation between HYDIN gene mutations and tubal cilia loss in EOC.MethodsA whole exome sequencing (WES), immunohistochemistry (IHC), western blot, and reverse transcription quantitative (RT q) PCR were performed in 80 patients with EOC and 50 cases of non ovarian cancer to detect the mutations and expression of tubal ciliary marker, ciliary morphology, and abnormal rate.ResultsWe found that the incidence of tubal cilia loss was higher in EOC group with decreased expression of HYDIN compared with the control group (P<0.05).DiscussionThis study suggests that tubal ciliary loss is evident in epithelial fallopian tube carcinoma, and ciliary cells may be involved in the occurrence and development of EOC, and cilia-related gene HYDIN is expected to be a tumor marker for epithelial ovarian cancer.…”
