Optimization Design of the Second-phase Cofferdam Demolition of Datengxia Water Conservancy Project
Published 2023-01-01“…The second-phase cofferdam demolition of the Datengxia Water Conservancy Project has large quantities,a tight construction period, and great difficulty. To optimize the demolition design, this paper optimizes the demolition range and elevation of upstream and downstream transverse cofferdams and longitudinal cofferdams by a 1∶80 overall model test, which is combined with factors such as relevant hydraulic conditions, energy dissipation and erosion prevention, investment, and construction period. After optimization, the right bank side of the upstream transverse cofferdam is demolished to the elevation of 31.17 m and the sluice gate section is the elevation of 25 m.The demolition length of the upstream section of the longitudinal cofferdam is 275 m,and it is demolished to the elevation of 36 m with the remaining 50 m not being demolished. The downstream horizontal earth-rock cofferdam is completely demolished, and the longitudinal cofferdam is demolished to the elevation of 30 m,with a demolition length of 202 m.The optimized demolition scheme meets the designed hydraulic conditions, reduces the construction difficulty, and decreases the demolition quantities and investment.…”

Study on Landscape Fractal of Different Vegetation Coverage in Hilly Area of South China— Taking Conghua District of Guangzhou City as an Example
Published 2021-01-01“…Based on the fractal theory, this paper calculates the area, fractal dimension and stability index of patches with different vegetation coverage in Conghua District, and analyzes the distribution and variation law of patch fractal characteristics in different elevation, slope and aspect. The results show that:①The vegetation condition in Conghua District is generally good, and the patch area with medium (>45%) and above vegetation coverage accounts for 86.7% of the total vegetation area. The farther it is from towns and highways, the more complex and irregular the patch shape is.② When the elevation is less than 90 m,the proportion of patch area with low, medium and low vegetation coverage is larger, and the shape of all kinds of patches is fragmented and complex. When the elevation is higher than 90 m,the fractal dimension of patches increases and the stability decreases with the increase of elevation.③The topographic slope in Conghua District is mainly below 25 degrees. The patches with low and middle vegetation coverage are mainly distributed in the area below 15 degrees, while those with high vegetation coverage are dominant in the area above 15 degrees. With the increase of slope, the fractal dimension and stability index of patches with the same vegetation coverage do not change significantly.④The vegetation condition of sunny slope is better than that of shady slope, but the patch structure of shady slope is more complex.…”

Channel capacity analysis of non-line-of-sight ultraviolet communication in noncoplanar geometry based on traversing tiny unit method
Published 2019-05-01“…Channel capacity reflects the ability of the system to transmit information without errors. The path loss and impulse response of the system were calculated based on traversing tiny unit method, and then the frequency response of the system was obtained by the discrete Fourier transform of the impulse response sampling sequence, and the 3 dB bandwidth of the system was calculated.Considering the shot noise caused by signal light, the signal-to-noise ratio of the system was obtained according to the quantum limit method, and then the relationship between the channel capacity and the geometric parameters of transmitter and receiver in non-line-of-sight noncoplanar ultraviolet communication system were simulated and analyzed by Shannon formula. The results show that the channel capacity decreases with the increase of the off axis angle and the communication distance. When the elevation angles of transmitter and receiver are less than 40°,the channel capacity decreases rapidly with the increase of the elevation angles of transmitter and receiver, and the transmitter elevation angle has a great influence on the channel capacity. The system channel capacity is almost constant with the increase of divergence angle, and the larger the receiver field of view angle, the greater the system channel capacity.…”
