Research on Spatial-temporal Variation Characteristics and In fluencing Factors of Annual Maximum Daily Temperature in the Pearl River Basin under the Background of Global Warming
Published 2020-01-01“…Global warming and severe human activities have induced the non-stationary global climate, leading to increasingly frequent climate events like extreme high temperature, which has seriously threatened human health and socio-economic development. This paper analyzes the spatial-temporal variation characteristics of extreme high temperature and quantitatively discusses its influencing factors by the annual maximum daily temperature of 43 meteorological stations in the Pearl River Basin (PRB) from 1960 to 2012 and 74 monthly atmospheric circulation indexes. …”

Spatial-Temporal Variation of Vegetation NDVI and Its Response to Climate in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area from 2012 to 2021
Published 2023-01-01“…Exploring the normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) variation of vegetation and its response to climate change in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is of great significance for regional ecological environment restoration and vegetation improvement.According to MODIS NDVI data and meteorological data,Sen trend analysis, coefficient of variation (CV),and correlation analysis were adopted to analyze the spatio-temporal variation characteristics of vegetation and its response to climate change in the Greater Bay Area in recent 10 years. The results show that:①The NDVI of the vegetation in the Greater Bay Area generally shows a slow upward trend, with a rising slope of 0.003 3 /a,and the effect of continuous improvement of vegetation is great;②the NDVI stability of vegetation in the Greater Bay Area is relatively strong, with an average CV of 0.054 8.The areas with low and lower fluctuation changes of vegetation account for 89.94%,while those with high and higher fluctuation changes are mainly distributed in Foshan,Zhongshan,Dongguan,Shenzhen,Zhuhai, south of Guangzhou, and other regions with rapid economic development;③the correlation between NDVI of vegetation and average temperature in the Greater Bay Area is higher than that between NDVI of vegetation and precipitation.Temperature is the dominant factor affecting vegetation growth, and precipitation is mainly negatively correlated with the NDVI of vegetation. The research results can provide a theoretical basis for the ecological environment governance and green sustainable development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.…”

Simulating Intraurban Land Use Dynamics under Multiple Scenarios Based on Fuzzy Cellular Automata: A Case Study of Jinzhou District, Dalian
Published 2018-01-01“…Under the 5 m × 5 m scale, the model shows good performance for simulation of areas with various land use types. (2) Among simulations under four scenarios, the effect of traffic guidance on the development of construction land was more distinct under the economic development mode, which clearly showed the phenomenon of “agglomeration” along major traffic lines. (3) Jinshitan Street is adjacent to the sea, and land use changes are significant under the 4th scenario, and thus related departments should pay more attention. (4) Shortcomings of conventional cellular automata model in processing complex systems could be mitigated through the integration of fuzzy sets.…”
