Parameter Analysis and Elastohydrodynamic Lubrication of the Precision Steel Ball Transmission by Jin Jingchuan, An Zijun Yang, Ronggang

    Published 2015-01-01
“…On the basis of the study of contact mechanics and kinematics of precision steel ball transmission, the minimum film thickness formula of precision steel ball transmission meshing vice is derived by applying Hamrock-Dowson formula. The influence rule of the basic parameters such as the short amplitude coefficient of cycloidal tooth profile, rolling circle radius and steel ball radius on the meshing pair minimum film thickness is studied by applying numerical calculation method. The lubrication condition of meshing pair is analyzed and discriminated, the calculation method of the parameter selection of meshing pair in a state of complete elastohydrodynamic lubrication is proposed with calculating the range of the basic parameters. The theory basis of design and application for precision steel ball transmission is provided.…”

AAC compression detection based on scaling factor transition probability by Qijuan HUANG, Rangding WANG, Diqun YAN

    Published 2017-11-01
“…Audio compression history detection is an important part of audio forensics, which is important to detect whether audio has been tampered or forged. An algorithm of AAC audio compression history detection was presented by using the transition probability differences of scale factors as the discriminative feature.Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method can distinguish the single, double and triple compressed AAC audios effectively, and from the low-bite-rate to high-bit-rate,the average classification accuracy achieves 99.75%,the same-bit-rate detection accuracy achieves 97.28%.In addition, the results of comparison experiments show that the proposed algorithm outperforms the state-of-the-art algorithm.…”

Power of a determinant with two physical applications by James D. Louck

    Published 1999-01-01
“…Two applications of this expression are given: the first is the Regge generating function for the Clebsch-Gordan coefficients of the unitary group SU(2), noting also the relation to the  3 F2 hypergeometric series; the second is to the even powers of the Vandermonde determinant, or, equivalently, all powers of the discriminant. The second result leads to an interesting map between magic square arrays and partitions and has applications to the wave functions describing the quantum Hall effect. …”
