Dynamical Models of Tuberculosis and Their Applications
Published 2004-06-01“…Modelformulations involve a variety of mathematical areas, such as ODEs(Ordinary Differential Equations) (both autonomous andnon-autonomous systems), PDEs (Partial Differential Equations),system of difference equations, system of integro-differentialequations, Markov chain model, and simulation models.…”

HPM-Based Dynamic Sparse Grid Approach for Perona-Malik Equation
Published 2014-01-01“…In order to decrease the calculation amount introduced by the change of the external grid points, the Newton interpolation technique is employed instead of the traditional Lagrange interpolation operator, and the condition number of the discretized matrix different equations is taken into account of the choice of the external grid points. …”

The $ L_1 $-induced norm analysis for linear multivariable differential equations
Published 2024-12-01“…Furthermore, the $ l_1 $-induced norm of difference equations was tackled in a parallel fashion. Finally, numerical studies were given to demonstrate the overall arguments.…”

A new finite difference algorithm for boundary value problems involving transmission conditions
Published 2022-12-01“…The finite difference method (FDM) is used to find an approximate solution to ordinary and partial differential equations of various type using finite difference equations to approximate derivatives. The idea is to replace ordinary or partial derivatives appearing in the boundary-value problem by finite differences that approximate them. …”

Aspects of rotating anisotropic dark energy stars
Published 2024-12-01“…By numerically solving the rotating stellar structure equations in presence of anisotropy, we analyse and quantify various properties of dark energy stars such as mass (M), radius, mass deformation, angular momentum (J), moment of inertia, and quadrupole moment (Q), for three different equation of state parameters. We find that anisotropic slow rotation results in significant deformation of stellar mass and thereby affects other global properties studied. …”

Formulas for Generalized Two-Qubit Separability Probabilities
Published 2018-01-01“…We find number-theoretic-based formulas for the upper (uik) and lower (bik) parameter sets of these functions and, then, equivalently express G2k(α) in terms of first-order difference equations. Applications of Zeilberger’s algorithm yield “concise” forms of Q(-1,α), Q(1,α), and Q(3,α), parallel to the one obtained previously (Slater 2013) for P(0,α)=2Q(0,α). …”
